Dr. Parra is a joke. My brother is a colorectal patient. Dr. Para told him that he did not need debulking surgery but that it was my brother's decision. 16 tumors were found and an illestomy was required. This surprise was most likely due to Dr. Parra using CT with contrast instead of PET scans for monitoring. PET scan was finally done at the request of another physician. Results were given to my brother via Facetime. It was not good news. Today at my brother's appointment, Dr. Parra could not be bothered to be there, he saw the PA. PLEASE do not use this physician!

Friends recommended Dr. Parra for GIST cancer. We are hugely grateful that they led us to Dr. Parra, who spent a lot of time with us and answered every question that we asked with kindness, empathy, and words we could understand. Dr. Parra had studied my husband’s case thoroughly and waisted no time giving us the complete picture of what life was going to be like. He asked the best questions of my husband. We thought that his cancer was incurable but Dr. Parra assured us that our GIST was curable. He filled us with hope. The entire staff here is hugely helpful and kind.
