I had a total left knee replacement by Dr. Rodriguez and I am totally disappointed with the entire process and himself as a surgeon. Very poor bedside practice, actually I only saw him 1 time after surgery and I was in the hospital for 4 days. He does not listen to his patients at all. Clearly I would know my home situation better than him. I told him that I live alone and would not be able to manage on my own immediately after surgery and I would needed to be discharged to a rehab for a few days. I had already confirmed with my insurance the coverage and I was covered for inpatient rehab services. Fr. Rodriguez did not agree and he did not advocate for me to have in patient rehab. I was discharged as rged on day 4 and has struggled every since at home alone. I have fallen 4 times and I'm very concerned about the healing of the knee. I will Not be using him as a surgeon for my right knee replacement. I am currently in contact with my insurance company trying to appeal the denial but they have informed me that the appeal must come from my surgeon. My case was not very easy and I actually had to have a 2nd MRI to determine that I did have a meniscal tear. I tried numerous times to connect with his office regarding my aflac paperwork until i could return to work. I was ignored and no one in his office would help me. I have changed to a different orthopedic surgeon, since I had no choice, but I did really like Dr Rodriguez. I am having surgery for my knee on 5/19/22. I guess things happen the way they should. My new Dr. along with his office staff, do not ignore me.

Appointment time was actually ON TIME. Can’t say that about most doctors. Staff was great. Follow up with staff has been thorough and informative. No complaints - A very positive experience.

I fell on my right knee and needed a diagnosis of the knee cap and soft tissue. Dr. Rodriguez had both knees x-rayed. The film showed arthritis in both knees. I received an injection in my right knee. I appreciate the good care and professional courtesy I received.

Dr Rodriguez did bilateral knee replacement surgery on me this past June. I have been a patient of his for years and although I very much trusted him, I was understandably apprehensive about having this surgery! He exhausted every noninvasive treatment option before recommending the surgery. He agreed to do both of my knees based on my age and level of physical activity. This is never an easy surgery and recovery requires time and much therapy, but I returned to work as a nurse working 12 hour shifts in 3.5 months. I healed without complications. My level of pain decreased about 90% and I am walking with ease and able to live my life without the restrictions of painful knees. Thank you, Dr Rodriguez, for an excellent job!
