Hiren Parekh's Online Review Report Card

Dr. Parekh is the first eye specialist I've been to that ever listened to me. I am able to see clearly for the first time in my life because of him and his staff. The PA was an intern who was so kind and very good at her job. I love that they are taking interns because Dr. Parekh is obviously extremely knowledgeable, so to pass on that knowledge and help even more people is such a blessing. God bless Dr. Parekh and his staff and their families. They fit me in last minute, and gave me the gift of sight. Its a small thing for some, but for me it means the world.

I have been seeing Dr. Parek for 15 years. I have always found him to be very kind and caring. He caught my glaucoma early and removed one on my left eye. Today we discussed doing the one on my right eye. In Sept. he’s going to do a laser procedure on the left eye. I had several questions today and he answered them in a way I could understand. His assistants are courteous and friendly . His front office people are always friendly. I do not understand why some people think he and and staff are unfriendly. I will definitely continue to see him.

Worst doctor ever so I went in for my appointment he diagnosed me my first visit then he said my eye is just irritated just use over the counter eye drops….he could have told me that over the phone and he didn’t even check my eye out…

Front Desk person was a little cutthroat…and that of itself was a bit alarming. I forgot to bring a mask so she told me I would have to reschedule. Usually the doctor’s office will provide a mask so that was a little strange. Once I saw the doctor, who seemed nice, and his assistant, who was also very nice, the appointment progressed well. I have high intraocular hypertension so getting the pressure down is imperative as it can cause damage or worse, blindness. This was on Aug. 8, 2022. He recommended laser surgery and prescribed eye drops. My pharmacy called to tell me that they needed more clarification from the doctor before they could fill the Rx. They called his office as did I, but we’ve yet to hear from them two days later. I am leery of an office that cannot provide a mask for their patients. It made me wonder if they are cutting costs in other areas as well. Also not contacting the pharmacy to clarify the Rx was a deal breaker. I will find another doctor.

First of all they are very expensive compare to others around . Their services are good except the receptionist that really argued and even raised her voice about a simple yes or no question. Fortunately another nurse came from and processed the payment that I even didn't know I will be paying.speaking with them earlier by phone and being a out of pocket patient, they didn't tell me if I'm going to pay or not.previously the always tell me how much so I get prepare and not be surprised. Well the receptionist was rude I mean it was like you have no right to ask a question, you pay or you leave. That was really an unfair treatment of patient who is even just paying you out of pocket with no insurance paperworks to go through.

Dr. Parekh is great-!!!!! On my first visit he was looking in my eye with an instrument and discovered an unusual area in the brain, spoke with my PCP and together we all decided on an MRI of the brain. Luckily it has never grown nor caused me an issue although I follow yearly.

I have been seeing Dr. Parekh and Arlington Eye Physicians for over 10 years. This is an excelled doctor who really takes the time to explain things to you. He is very knowledgeable. I was referred there by my Primary Care doctor initially but all of my other doctors also recommended him. I have recommended my friends and family to him and they have all been very pleased. He is our go to ophthalmologist.

Dr Parekh has been my go-to Ophthalmologist for many years. He is very thorough in my eye exams and clearly explains issues with my eyes. His new office is a big plus.

Dr. Parekh did surgery on my brother's eye 2 weeks ago. He is doing great! We appreciate Dr. Parekh.

Took my mother for her cataract surgery and the whole process was very smooth... highly recommend this office, friendly efficient staff and a very knowledgeable doctor....
