List of Medical City Arlington Emergency Room's Reviews
They actually suck so bad. I came in here for a medical emergency, I'm pregnant and started bleeding and having cramps that were UNBEARABLE. I kept fainting all over their table and I came at 5pm..got admitted at 5:30pm, got blood drawn etc. and now it's been over 4 hours and they haven't even seen me since!
If your Dr.'s are working out of this hospital. Get a new Dr. Everyone I know who has either had a baby here or has had surgery here for the last 2 decades have left with infections. This hospital is dangerous and should be regulated. It would be one thing if one person gets an infection but over 2 decades I have know over 50 people to go there and walk away with serious infections. I just had my sister deliver a baby there. I warned her not to go to that hospital. She now has cellulitis infection on the chest where the baby is suppose to breast feed. The Dr said she most likely received it from the gowns. GROSS!!! Now she is on strong antibiotics and recommended to her not to breast feed while she on this strong medicine! Not Cool at all. This sweet newborn having to not get her mother's milk. Shame on you Medical City Arlington. You are a medical facility. Disinfect your hospital!!! I have never seen this with any other hospital. Whoever is suppose to check on these hospitals please made them do something before people lose their lives!
I was in a car accident and transported to Medical City Arlington on Matlock on May 21, 2026. My nurse Callie was very sweet. I was asked if I wanted any pain medicatin which I refused. They said to let them know if I wanted some later. Once CT and xrays were completed I didn't see anyone till dismissal, so even if I had wanted pain medication there would have been now way to get it. I was basically ignored. However, I had an abrasion on my thumb that the EMT covered with a bandaid. The doctor peeled the bandaid back and said it didn't need stitches. It was not cleaned up and the bloody bandaid was placed back on it. Also when I came in my name was transposed with my last name as my first name and my first name as my last. When my husband came the gentleman at reception in the ER department was was rude and told him I wasn't there. He was never allowed to come back to be with me. I did not have a call button for the nurse and had to get out of bed to call for assistance to use the restroom. Overall it was an awfull experience. But I guess that's what you get with a for-profit hospital. I will never go back there or recommend it to any one.
Parent was inpatient 10 days in March 2026. Staff only got her out of bed twice. Board in room showed daily PT. When I asked why PT was not done daily, the nurse manager said that is where we fail. Parent is now in SNF working on regaining strength.
Parent was inpatient 10 days in March 2026. Board in room showed daily PT. Staff got her out of bed only twice. When I asked why PT was not done daily, the nurse manager said that is where we fail. Also, misdiagnosed UTI. Positive less than 24 hours test by PCP prior to admit, MCA retested negative, SNF at admit tested positive. Parent is in SNF working on regaining strength lost while at MCA.
Fantastic care in every way in every department! this retired veteran was very well cared for at a time when I thought veterans don't matter. Feb. 23rd 2026 E/R night team have my profound thanks!

It's was a great experience loving and caring staff catered to my need and if i ever need to go back I will go there.
Broke my arm on Easter my nurses were super friendly and kind to me and were super gentle with me and so considerate of my feelings during the experience and never dismissed my feelings thank you! 💕💕 #4wheeler
Treage was a very hard chair/table where I was in a lot of pain but no way to call a nurse. I finally started yelling at people passing by. Someone must have eventually notified my nurse because the same woman kept yelling at me "Be with you in a moment" as she passed by. Very frustrating.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
