I had high hopes, but unfortunately the service was minimum and the care and follow up was worse. I scheduled the injection waited 2 hours in the room for Doctor Rosenstein. He never came in the room to speak with me. I was given a shot to supposedly ease my pain when I first got there, but by him being late I guess it had worn off . I was wheeled by the nurse back to the procedural room where 2 more nurses were and they begin to pull and tug on me . Then they turned me over on my belly and started sticking me . I am unaware, if Dr. Rosenstein ever came in. I was told by him in the office when I scheduled the procedure that they would do 2 injection. that was a lie . They stuck me at least 6 times. I was screaming in pain. Afterwards the nurse rolled me over she was all I saw. Two weeks I was scheduled for a follow-up with Dr. Rosenstein, WRONG! It was his assistant I passed him in the hall on the way out he said nothing. My back was still hurting and I won't go back there ever. The injection aren't worth the disrespect and pain. My pinch nerve on the left side wasn't were the 6 sticks were they were on the right. The injection did not help at all. All about money at that place or maybe racist. I wrote reviews on his site however I see they did the okey dokey and removed it so they can keep their lie of 4 out of 5 stars. Please beware save your time, money, and anguish.
I wanted to take a moment to express my sincere appreciation for Dr. Jacob Rosenstein. As a fellow healthcare provider practicing chiropractic care locally for more than 30 years I am incredibly careful about where I refer my patients and who I trust in the medical community. Dr. Rosenstein is an absolute professional who is highly skilled and deeply committed to patient outcomes. It is a true privilege to collaborate with him and witness his dedication firsthand. If you are looking for a top-tier neurosurgeon who genuinely cares, I cannot recommend him highly enough. — Dr. Dazzle B. Shrestha
I had an L4-S1 PLIF (fusion) in May of 2017 performed by Dr. Rosenstein. It's now been 9 years and I want to tell everyone who is reading this that Dr. Rosenstein gave me my life back. I have a small amount of residual pain, but the difference is night and day. I cannot begin to explain how much pain I was in at the time; I didn't really understand it myself - I was just trudging along, doing life the best I could. But, ya'll I couldn't walk for more than 5 minutes before I had to stop, sit/lie down, and let the pain subside (which could take anywhere from 10 minutes to an hour, and got to a point that it didn't fully subside). I am so grateful that he was there at that time - especially when you consider that a certain other Doctor was practicing very nearby at that time. Anyway, today I practice medicine as a PA-C in Oregon, I work Urgent Care and I'm zipping in and out and back and forth, all day long. I own a home and have a family. There is NO WAY I would be where I am without Dr. Rosenstein, the assisting NP (I'm sorry I can't remember her name), and the Staff at NTNC. This review is long overdue, but maybe it's more of a testimonial to the longevity and quality of his work. Thank you. God Bless you all.
I've had 2 surgeries with Dr. Rosenstein and his team. The first one was in February 2025. It was a microdiscectomy surgery on my L-5 to S-1 for a severe herniated disk. I was out of town when the issue occurred. I went to multiple E.R and urgent cares trying to find relief and the root cause of the problem. They told me I needed to get back home asap and find a good doctor to check me out. So, I did my research and came across Dr. Rosenstein. He had great reviews and was highly recommended. I was a bit worried about him being one of the best because it would be hard to get in to see him. Especially with how much pain I was in. I flew back home on a Tuesday and made the call. I had the pleasure of talking to a wonderful woman that works there named Paula. She took down all my necessary info and said the soonest appointment was the following Monday. But she knew how much pain I was in so she said keep my phone beside me and if anything came up she would call me. Sure enough, Friday morning i got the call and was told to come in. I met Dr. Rosenstein and his staff and they were all very professional and caring. We went over the diagnosis, mri, and options to correct my issue. I basically have the back of an 80 y/o man (I was 37) from years of high labor intensive jobs, arthritis, and poor lifting techniques. We both agreed surgery was the best out come for me. I figured it would be a week or two before I could be scheduled in. No sir! Dr. Rosenstein and his team got me in for the following Tuesday!! As soon as I woke up from surgery it was IMMEDIATE RELIEF. The incision was small and the healing/pain was minimal. Thats when I knew i found an amazing doctor. Fast forward a year later I started having back pain and pain shooting down my right leg. So, I knew exactly who to go to. We did another mri and found out from the years of abuse to my back my disk were shot from l4-s1. Once again, we went over the options and Dr Rosenstein explained everything thoroughly. I decided to try the injections first instead of the surgery. It was another outpatient procedure so I could go home the same day like the microdiscectomy surgery. The shots helped for a bit but it wasnt fixing the root problem. So, we regrouped and decided i indeed needed a l4-s1 spinal fusion surgery to correct the pain i was in and the damage i caused all those years to my back. Im currently 5 weeks post-op from my spinal fusion. Ive never felt better!! I cant believe the relief and the amazing work Dr.Rosenstein and his team does! He really is a miracle worker. He will be the only one i go to and recommend from here on out. I consider him more than just my doctor he's also a good friend. He truly cares about his patients and he takes great pride in his quality work. Amazing Guy!!
This is to let everyone know how much my Wife and I think of Dr. Rosenstein. Back in 1989, (yes 36 years ago) Dr. Rosenstein did an ACDF,(Anterior Cervical Discectomy and Fusion) on my C3-C4. For 24 years I had NO issues. In 2013 an overzealous Physical Therapist decided that I needed a session in a traction device to relieve sore muscles in my neck. Long story short, a "POP" and I was off to the ER. Several months later, 2 or 3 different Neurologists later I was told I needed surgery. My wife wanted a second opinion and we thought, maybe about Dr. Rosenstein. Saw him, got a better diagnosis and me and the wife felt great with his solution. 2014 had my second ACDF. 10 years later, because of age and other issues, once again headed for surgery. Dr. R didn't take my insurance but found another great surgeon. Because of limitations from the insurance companies, new surgeon wasn't able to do everything he knew was needed. Lo and Behold an emergency surgery had to be done but the wife would NOT let it proceed without the approval of DR. ROSENSTEIN. I don't know how much longer he will be doing what he does but if you need the best, you better hurry and see him
I have had 2 spinal lumbar fusions (different discs) with Dr. Rosenstein in 2017 and 2024. I have to say he is meticulous with his preparation and procedures. He took his time to prepare and did an amazing job. I have found significant pain relief. I could not do anything without pain. He gave me my life back. If you do aftercare as he directs, I would l highly recommend him for your spinal treatments. I was scared with all the horror stories I have heard about back surgeries, but he calmed my fears with results.
To say that I am pleased with my recent surgery performed by Doctor Jacob Rosenstein is an understatement. I am over the moon with joy that he eliminated the grinding pain I had been experiencing in my back for several years. After sending me for two diagnostic tests, Dr Rosenstein was confident he could take care of my pain with day surgery. He also made it very clear that he would only be addressing one source of pain and to address the other I would need a doctor with a different area of expertise. My overall experience with Dr Rosenstein and his gracious staff was very pleasant and I would not hesitate to see them again if something should arise that Dr Rosenstein could take care of.
I highly recommend Dr.Jacob Rosenstein if you are needing to have back surgery. He is very thorough in accessing the correct procedure from his initial exam of you, and then after x-rays have been taken sets up your surgery. My surgery was on a Friday and he came to the hospital on Saturday to visit me. I wasn’t expecting to see him because it was the weekend and I never have forgotten how kind that was of him. Tammy is his assistant in surgery and she answered a lot of my questions and put me at ease before surgery and is such a professional. All of Dr. Rosenstein’s staff have always been so helpful to me through the years and they all go over and beyond to help with anything you need.
I have been coming to Dr. Rosenstein and Tammy for over 5 years and I can say without a doubt that they are the most thorough team I have been to. I had my 3rd back surgery done by Dr. Rosenstein and he had to take out my old hardware that was over 10 years old from my previous Lumbar fusion. They slow down and take the time to listen to you and it is something that is not seen at many offices. If you are looking for a new Neurosurgeon I highly recommend and keep in mind I drive almost a hour to get here. They are that good.
The staff was fantastic to work with and I had a huge success with my surgery. Dr. Rosenstein Knows what he is doing when it comes to spine surgery. I would highly recommend him if you are having back problems. .
