Plenty of seating in the waiting room and the AC is nice and cold. Restrooms are clean. Friendly staff at front desk. The only complaint i have is when you first come into the office you usually have to stand in line to sign in because there's only one window/receptionist area And if there are 2 or 3 people already waiting in front of you the standing area is right by the front door and your also standing in an area where patients are coming and going from being seen by the doctor. In other words the flow of traffic is tight, congested & awkward. I had my mother go ahead and have a seat in waiting room while I waited in line, for her, for several minutes. That whole area was congested with people coming and going to the back to be seen by the doctor and people coming and going thru the front door. Also had to stand & wait while the people in line ahead of us had paper work to fill out. There's only one receptionist to handle check ins and take care of paper work. Be prepared to stand a minute.
Dr. Syrquin & all of his staff are professional, caring & have always been there for me in a most extraordinary way! I give them a 10 star rating for what they have done for me.
Let me start by saying the doctor was great. I think Craig or Greg something. The staff, terrible, rude, no communication, just terrible. Nobody says hi or talks to you. They laugh and chat amongst themselves but you can sit in a room or be examined and they won't say a word. Monique at the front was rude, the staff member that I paid just seemed so annoyed to be there and by everybody. I literally asked her if she was OK. So I would recommend that you go somewhere else.
Dr. Witherspoon is truly one of the greats. After a negative experience with another doctor, he has restored my respect for the profession He is killing the optometry game. When I say "killing it", I mean he's a ninja of the illest order. I can't say enough, the man is bad.
Everyone was nice until I got to check out. Monique was VERY rude and stated my financial business out loud after I tried to explain my financial issue. Also there is a portal online for me to pay and she acted as if I wasn’t going to pay once I found a job (been out of a job for months for clarification) . I was able to resolve the issue on my own since she wasn’t offering any assistance in any kind of way. I hope no one else has to deal with her attitude.other than that everyone else was GREAT.
⭐☆☆☆☆ This Place Is a Disaster — Avoid at All Costs If I could give zero stars, I would. Our experience at the Texas Retina Institute in Arlington was an absolute joke from start to finish. My father had a 2:00 PM appointment. We showed up early at 1:15. By 2:20, all they had done was drag him back for “intake,” which took nearly 45 minutes because their equipment and/or staff were completely unreliable. Their blood pressure machine spit out numbers so ridiculous they would’ve been funny if it weren’t a medical clinic — one minute 86/90, the next minute 168/70. If they can’t even get a basic reading right, why on earth would anyone trust them with retina care? After that waste of time, they dumped us back in the waiting room with no explanation. When I finally asked how much longer it would be, the receptionist casually said there were seven patients ahead of him. So after waiting over an hour past his appointment time, my elderly father was basically at the back of a line that wasn’t moving. When I said we’d reschedule, she told me it wouldn’t matter — December appointments “will probably be the same” because the doctor is always behind. So apparently this clinic knowingly overbooks, keeps senior citizens sitting around for hours, and just doesn’t care. This place is the definition of disorganized, indifferent, and unprofessional. If you want to spend your entire afternoon waiting, wondering if anyone in the building actually knows what they’re doing, this is the clinic for you. For everyone else: run in the opposite direction. We walked out, and we won’t be back?
My wife has been going to see Doctor Witherspoon for A very long time he’s very professional with her and makes her feel comfortable during her visit and when she is getting her procedure done. And may I say, Doctor Witherspoon and the manager Wendy are very professional, very kind and understanding and all the staff members. I would not have it any other way. We were very blessed to have walked into this office from day one till today. Thank you, Dr. Witherspoon and your staff.
I have been going to see Dr. Witherspoon for over 10 years and would not change it for the world. He has saved my vision. Dr Witherspoon has always been very kind patient and Professional explain’s everything that is going on with my vision and retina. Every time I get my injection, they make sure that I am Comfortable. If there is an emergency, they have always either worked me in or have me go to the office where Dr Witherspoon was on that day. And The staff members are very kind and very professional. Every time I go to sign in they’re always welcomed me in with a smile. I would definitely refer anyone to this office.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
