If I could give this hospital a negative rating, I would!!! The hospital staff misdiagnosed me. I was initially told I had a stroke, after being in the hospital for 24 hrs I was told I didn’t have a stroke but had fainted. I was given a TPA medication which caused me to have a seizure, mind you I have never had a seizure and seizures don’t run in my family. The Dr wanted MRI imaging, which was fine with me. However, I was told the MRI would be done Monday and it was not. Monday evening the nurse came into the room, informed me that the MRI dept would not be able to do the imaging and I would be the first patient on Tuesday morning and by Tuesday afternoon I would discharged. I sat around Tuesday until 1:30 pm, finally a staff member from the MRI dept came to my room and wheeled me down to the MRI lab. I was told it would take an hour to capture all the images. An hour and a half into taking the images I was told I still had another 45 mins to go. I asked a staff member in the MRI dept “why wasn’t I the first patient to do imaging this morning?” His response was “we had stroke patients to come in.” But remember I was told I was a stroke patient, so shouldn’t I have been first to take my MRI on Monday. I sat in the hospital for 2 days not hooked up to any machines. I literally laid in bed and ate hospital food.

Jon, Aaron- RN, Stephen-RN , Laura- PA, Sean, T. Ealy-EMT, the registration lady, (I didn’t get her name) and the two guys who took my chest X-ray, they deserve a raise and a paid vacation! They made my ER visit a breeze!!! I couldn’t even focus on the pain I was in because they went above and beyond to make me feel comfortable, make sure I understood EXACTLY what was happening and most importantly they took their time listening to me and my concerns. I have ZERO complaints on the staff that took care of me last night. Thank you guys from the bottom of my heart! I have never had a hospital visit as pleasant as last night, they help each other with no complaints, they’re a team, The Dream Team!!!!

Courteous staff, knowledgeable and efficient

I was well taken care by your Nurse staff and Technicians. Spent 6 days with outstanding people. But i do have one complaint: it took 6 days to get a MRI. Which limited my doctors on my diagnosis. Since MCA has financial support from the Texas Rangers i believe that MCA should request a second MRI machine to eliminate such a backlog. Next time when i have another Transverse Myelitis flare up i will be returning to MCA for my treatment. Thank youHoracio Capella CPO USN Retired

I was in a car accident.. and the doctors were just moving around me barely giving me information. After my scans I laid there with my wound out and no one ever came to me and told me about my scan and rarely to check on me and I was very much confused.They didn’t call any of my family, I had to ask for my phone to call my sister. Even me in pain they rarely helped me move around or get to the side toilet. Thankfully they got me a wheelchair to wheel me out of there. But, they did give me blankets, and Megan who did my stitches was great and communicated well with me!

Everything and everyone was amazing!! If I could give a 20 star, I would. I could not ask for better care and attention. Again, amazing!!!!!

The facility and staffs are wonderful. My dad stay in this hospital for a month as he got stroke.

I felt cared for from the moment I walked in the door for my pre-op visit. Debbie greeted me and walked me through everything.The care I received on procedure day was top notch from beginning to end. Everyone was concerned with my comfort and ease. The heaters for the gowns are phenomenal (I always struggle with being cold).Medical City Arlington will be my hospital of choice going forward. Thank you for your gentle and considerate care!

Everything went so smoothly from checking in, pre op, then the day it- everything was expeditious- the staff, nurses and doctors were amazing!!! Couldn’t have asked for a better experience. I highly recommend Medical City Arlington!!
