Refused patient care because I wouldn't let their P A cut on me then sent a male nurse in who left room door wide open while I was exposed

I have always been very pleased with the treatment that I've gotten from this Hospital but I hated to admit my last experience was less than perfect. I had a port removed and evidently the pain medicine was not sufficient because I felt as if the port was being ripped out of my chest and the pain was horrific. I was very emotional when I was being wheeled to my car and as I was crying and I asked why did it hurt so bad and I was told that I was feeling the lidocaine that was sprayed. There was no way that what I felt was being sprayed by lidocaine I felt as if that Port had connected to my flesh and it was being ripped out of my chest. I am so sorry to have to give a bad report but prayerfully this will be something that could be used to prevent anyone else from going through the excruciating pain that I endured because the pain medicine was not strong enough for removing my port. I feel that I endured pain that I shouldn't have felt.

Prompt admission, everyone was professional and courteous. Tech was knowledgeable, courteous, helpful, and made the visit as comfortable as possible for me. Tech started my IV and I had very minimal pain and bruising. I bruise easily and a lot, but you can barely see the spot. He saw to my every need or concern, he was extremely patient, very thorough. His personality and demeanor was exemplary and what everyone in the Healthcare profession should be.

I received the BEST care from James J in the ER up until he took me to my Room. The Excellent care continued on throughout my stay. Jennifer was my overnight Nurse who gave me Excellent care throughout the Night. How did I get so Lucky again to get James J as my Day Nurse. I greatly appreciate the Excellent Care from these two Nurses. Also the Gentleman did my MRI coached me through it. I was in so much pain laying on the bed. He was excellent as he told me about his personal issue with Back pain. He distracted me and was able to complete my MRI. Echo the Gentleman who took my X-ray was Excellent as well. My stay was REMARKABLE!!!

The staff is great! No complaints. Also the pre-op process is flawless and Nelda in that department is so nice and very friendly and good at her job.

The care I received from the nurses and techs was some of the best I’ve ever experienced. Unfortunately the doctors didn’t care to listen which resulted in some miserably pain-filled nights.

came in for a past injury, but when I tried to report a new foot injury, the staff ignored me, refused to let me speak, and used security to kick me out. It was a threatening ordeal when I asked for help. I assume they didn't like how I didn't write in why i came in that my foot is hurt but my problems to them were totally mocked laughed at as i hear them laughing and saying what ive said to the doctor i hear as if im a problem, i asked 2 people after the doctor left i also need my foot helped i felt ignored since i had to ask a second person and what they threaten me and say i dont want to leave i tried to say bc i asked for my foot to be helped youre getting security? It was threatening and horrible treatment from my initial report to them I felt unsafe with the doctors and nurses as they were against me, even laughing outside my door and coming in a girl said I just be laughing as I feel they are laughing at me and then they get security as it was impossible to them to provide support and help to me as they had a personal problem and were not nice. Bottom line while I was in need thinking I was in a hospital that can do their job they denied me and treated me unfairly and had no help in my life. A nightmare! Oh and the hospital itself isn't good looking and apparently they only have an emergency room? For my non emergency I report to staff where can I go I tell them what happened and they say emergency and it was a huge inconvenience for me. Should have walked out when I saw the condition the elevators where in and how I knew from the jump it looks kinda sketch and I'm thinking it's a hospital a doctor should be a doctor but my judgement was right! On the appearance and how the doctor and nurses were to me hence they get security as I knew their intentions were not as a healthcare professional should be. I know others have bad experiences here too so hope maybe I can help someone!! Its not hard to be nice especially when you work with those in need.

I was treated like royalty! I praise God for the whole team.

Everyone I came into contact with, both before, during, and after my surgery, was caring and compassionate. Made me feel secure in having my surgery there.
