This facility is in a stand alone building in Arlington/Irving area. It's about an hour's drive from us, so not very convenient at all. However, it is a much easier drive if you are willing to pay for the tollways (George Bush and 635) to get there. We were able to avoid traffic and arrive on time for two surgeries at this location. The parking lot is small and backs up along the fence. There are other parking lots nearby that are actually for other buildings. The spaces seem small and somewhat awkward to maneuver into because of the curb that group two or three spots together. There is a front circle drive specifically for patient loading and unloading. It even has a shaded canopy and a curb cut to accommodate patients getting out of surgery and being wheeled to the car via a wheelchair. The building has an odd shape. When you enter, there are actually two different waiting areas separated by a short hallway and two bathrooms. One waiting room has the checkin desk and is quiet except for the patients checking in periodically throughout the day. The other waiting room has a tv with the latest home renovation show. There is also a place to get coffee and a few snack items like Cheese-its and Goldfish to eat. There are two vending machines around the corner where you can purchase soda or other snacks. This waiting room also has a patient board where you can track when your loved one goes from pre-op to surgery and then finally to recovery. Staff at the facility are all very professional and helpful. My husband has had both of his cataract surgeries performed here. Both have gone well and he seems to be enjoying his newly improved vision.

Couldn’t have felt more at ease by the care team. From reception to discharge and everyone in between, it couldn’t have been better for my cataract /glaucoma surgery. Five stars all the way around for Dr. Gurney and his team!

I had cataract surgery here and I must say I was very impressed with the care that was given. All the nurses and doctors that I had contact with were outstanding!

I recently had cataract surgery and couldn't be more impressed with the entire team. On the day of the surgery, the team worked seamlessly together, creating a calm and reassuring environment. I'm grateful not only for the outstanding surgical expertise but also for the kindness and genuine care shown by the entire team.

The Mamma had a procedure here, and I don't think she would have received better care anywhere else. The staff is very friendly and the operation executed efficiently. We were in and out in a most reasonable amount of time even though they were treating several patients that afternoon. Great experience, and an excellent outcome. Thanks for taking care of my family.
