I love the fact that Dr. Joy Carter listens to my concerns and provides feedback. They are so articulated that they will find your information fast and easily. I love my appointments because I know that my concerns will be addressed. Thanks everyone!
Great bedside manner, I left at peace because she was very reassuring and answered all of my questions. She was very patient.
Dr. Brown!! Always informative and positive!! Such an amazing doctor! She’s been my doctor for years!! I wouldn’t have it any other way!!
Doctors and staff are always helpful, professional, kind, and make you feel comfortable.
Dr Puffer was very sweet and kind, she explained what she was doing. I recommend women that need a GYN to go there.
READ and TRUST the negative reviews. If you enjoy having to advocate for yourself, make appointments to go over test results (month+ later) that could have been a phone call (and still have to pay an additional office visit), being dismissed with your symptoms, and having to make an appointment to obtain a referral for a procedure Dr. Carter already stated she doesn’t perform, then this is the place for you! Otherwise, seek alternate care. Health care doesn’t have to be like this. Do better.
How this place has any good reviews is beyond me. My first pregnancy here was ok I guess, Dr. puffer was very quick with exams and dismissed my complaints such as morning sickness and told me “it will pass” I worked in ER Veterinary medicine during this time working 50 hour work weeks I cannot just “let it pass” I had to call my primary doctor just to get antinausea meds which helped tremendously during this period. That should have been the only cue I needed to seek care elsewhere. Second pregnancy I’m now taking my 2 year old with me to appointments. I would 90% of the time sit in the waiting room for a minimum of an hour to then eventually be moved to a room for another 45 minutes before being seen. Thank God I worked less hours and had more freedom in my schedule otherwise getting seen for an appointment wouldn’t be in the cards. My last and final visit here I waited over an hour to be moved to a room and 20 minutes into waiting for my exam I left with my 2 year old. I had had ENOUGH. They didn’t even call me to “apologize” for another 45 minutes AFTER I LEFT. Now I’m requesting my records was told I would get the form I needed to release my own medical records to myself, which ok I guess?????? Two days ago and still haven’t received it. I’ll have to call and sit on hold for 45 minutes until I actually reach a person to explain to me why this process is so tedious and frustrating but chances are the receptionist will be uncaring, unkind, and at best unsympathetic to the fact that I just want my records so I can never step foot in that black hole of a “clinic”
Trying to trust the Doctors is tough. When they refuse to here what you're telling them about YOUR BODY, then you're still waiting 3 or 4 days later for your prescription to be called in. Dr J Carter is a pro active Dr. Who listened to me, actively found the problem, then solved it. If you're going here, ask for her. Other wise " at your own risk"
The Arlington Location and Doctor Carter is always so amazing. There are always so nice and very helpful..
My experience at women’s health with Dr.Carter eorge was wonderful. She was very thorough. Gave me good information on what I needed to have done and what she was doing, but Nurse was very respectful. They met all my nieces and requirements that I requested.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
