Very happy with Dr. Chou. No issues and he listens to what you have to say..........
He’s great! He has been the only endocrinologist I’ve ever had that listened to me and wanted to help me feel better. Levothyroxine has never made me feel normal despite normal TSH levels and now that I’ve switched medication (which every doctor refused) I now know what normal feels like. No more depression or anxiety! :))
Dr. Brian Chou did not listen to a word I said at my appointment today. He was rude, condescending, and did not believe anything I told him. He has terrible bedside manner. He didn’t care that he made me cry. He clearly doesn’t care for his patients. It was very clear that he’d upset me and it didn’t bother him. He acted like I was stupid and didn’t know anything even though I was talking about my own medical issue. If I could give him zero stars, I would. He really hurt me, so much so that I had to walk out of the appointment. This guy sucks.
Dr. Brian Chou is the worst doctor I’ve ever seen. He was rude, condescending, and flippant. He did not listen to me. He did not believe anything I said. He made me cry and didn’t care. He was so incredibly unprofessional. I can’t believe this man is allowed to practice medicine.
This guy is seriously the worst doctor I’ve seen in my entire life. Rude. Condescending. He’s a terrible listener. He should not be in the medical field because he lacks all sympathy/empathy. I wish I’d never gone to him. He left me feeling worse than I did when I got there. I seriously hate this guy.
I am so very pleased with Dr. Chou. I have type 2 diabetes and have seen numerous doctors. He is attentive, patient and knowledgeable. He explained the proper way to use and make Metformin work. He discussed in detail, proper dieting and snacking. He explained how to properly check my blood sugar.Never has any other doctor I've seen been as thorough.Already, I feel better with much more energy.Thank you Dr. Chou
I saw Dr. Chou in March just as the pandemic was getting serious. I had developed sudden “attacks” at the time that sent me to the hospital. Before that occurred my doctor referred me to see Dr. Chou due to a swollen neck on the left side that went up to my left ear, and my thyroid was extremely enlarged. My husband went with me because the now known as seizures left me unable to walk steadily, or speak properly. Before he entered the room I heard him say LOUDLY to the nurse “what does she want”. She told him I was referred to him. She then moved us to another room. He came in the room in a very unpleasant mood. Asked what was going on. He looked at my VERY enlarged thyroid with an ultrasound, and said he wasn’t concerned about it, and then went on a twenty minute rant about weight and eating better. He talked about what he eats, how he eats, and what not only I should do, but my husband as well. I left with a print out about a diet he suggested and blood work to return in three months. He made me feel horrible. My health problem had nothing to do with my weight. I had a parathyroid tumor years ago when I was super skinny and in excellent shape. They removed part of my thyroid and that’s when my weight began to fluctuate. My thyroid problems is the only thing I needed help from him for. He knew this, and he also knew I was suffering from a terrible situation that was thought to be a MS attack at the time. I wish I could say this was the first time a doctor ever treated me so dismissive and cold, but it’s not. But I will not excuse it either. I did not return there, nor do I plan to return. Good luck to you all!
Top notch! Superb bedside manor. He cares and gives the best advice. I'm a type 1 juvenile for about 25 years and have lived in 6 cities. Best endo yet (that's alot).
He very honest
I had a wonderful experience with Dr. Brian Chou - Endocrinologist yesterday. Originally, I was skeptical about visiting his practice due to prolonged appointment time. However, visiting his practice made me understand why Dr. Chou is booked solid - so keep your appointment! If you want a Dr. that treats you like a herd of cattle and sends you on your way to the pharmacy with a new cocktail of prescriptions, then this is not your fit. However, if you a want a knowledgeable doctor that truly listens to you and your health concerns - Dr. Chou is THE medical practitioner more than qualified to assist you with your endocrine health concerns. Health is wealth! Thanks Dr. Chou, for the informative conversation; it reassured me that I'm on the right path. :)

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
