The worse hospital visit I've ever experienced. Went in today for asthma issues. They had me sit in the ER room while I was having breathing problems for almost an hour. After they took me back to triage they had me sit in the ER room again for another hour while my breathing was getting worse. When they finally put me in a room I asked the nurse if I could get a breathing treatment and all she told me was that the doctor will be with me whenever they get to me and walked away. The doctor never came in it was the charge nurse. She was very very rude and rushed me thru all my questions while I was having trouble breathing. I asked her if I could get a breathing treatment and she told me I didn't need one. And that from where she's standing it didn't look like I needed one. And kept trying to tell me how I should feel while having an asthma attack. Mind you I've had asthma since I was 2. I'm 29. I'm pretty familiar with asthma. I spent most of my childhood in a hospital and almost died multiple times because of my severe asthma issues. I've spent a lot of time in a hospital as an adult because of it too. The respiratory nurse came in and told me the exact same thing she did that I didn't need one. He was very rude too. My breathing was getting worse. A third nurse came in. She was very very sweet. She was the only one who seemed like they cared and when I told her I never got a breathing treatment when she asked about it she was in disbelief. She even said herself I needed one. I don't know what kind of hospital this is but it's not run very good or right. I could have died because they didn't care about me at all. Something needs to be done. In total I sat in the hospital for 3 hours without anyone helping me with my breathing issues while they progressively got worse. The worse hospital visit I've ever experienced. I went in for liver problems and all they did was make it worse with morphine now I'm sick from the drugs . Dr.was very unprofessional only talked to me for 30 seconds and walked out while I was trying to explain. Found out I have gallstones and just sent me and my girlfriend that had a mini stroke. Very rude and problem causing. Now my eyes are yellow and can't hardly see. I was with a close friend at the ER last night. Two of the nurses there, Shannon D and Ashlee were exceptional. They showed both compassion and friendliness, while being professional and being a good advocate for my friend's health and care. One doctor initially seemed less than focused, and the nurses helped to call attention to specifics that changed treatment. I am very appreciative for these two nurses, and they are excellent representatives of your facility. Thank you, Shannon and Ashlee, very much!I was with a close friend at the ER last night. Trust me, avoid this hospital if you can!
I checked in at about 9:50pm last night due to an absess on my right side. I got to see the doctors at approximately 11:15pm and got out at about 12:45pm. So they are really quick for an emergency room especially with how many were before me. When I got into the room where they were checking my blood pressure, my weight, ect., the doctors were super friendly and polite. They had to drain my absess which meant they had to cut me open. The nurse held my hand the whole time and helped me with my breathing as i was having a panic attack. The process was way less painful than I thought it would be I was just freaking out because i knew what the doctor was doing, they actually numbed me quite well. As soon as they drained it, the pressure was released and instantly the pain was gone. I have to follow up with Dr. Garrett Hill and nurse Stephanie for them to check on it and for them to change my gauze. If you go to this ER, I highly recommend asking for those two. Great job! And a huge thanks again!!! My life is alot better without being in terrible pain.I checked in at about 9:50pm last night due to an absess on my right side. Let me start off by saying that the nurses in the ER are WONDERFUL. You could not ask for better nurses. However, if Dr. Diaz is the ER doctor that day it would be 100% worth it to drive to Tyler. Dr. Diaz was not wearing a mask at all, not even around his chin. He said he is immune to Covid. Told my husband that he shouldn't be wearing one either and it was probably why he has pneumonia.Yup, you read that right.Totally unprofessional.Let me start off by saying that the nurses in the ER are WONDERFUL. The worst Hospital We have ever been to.
Unfortunately, i've had to use ER services a couple of times recently for the first time in my life. Now i'm getting billed and come to find out that the ER physician group is not a participating provider with BCBS where the hospital is and i'm getting a really large bill from them. I believe that the hospital should require their contractors to participate in the same networks as the hospital so that their patients don't get this unwelcome surprise after the fact! It seems like it would be basic business sense to me.Also, my first visit was a very simple and straight forward laceration which was repaired very quickly with a couple of stitches. In and out quickly. My second visit was very complex requiring lab work and radiology and several hours of time. The bill for both of these visits for the visit level from the ER physician group was exactly the same! I've been fighting them for a year to lower their code to something more reasonable without success. Seems to me like this might be a coding scam.....Unfortunately, i've had to use ER services a couple of times recently for the first time in my life. Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
