Been visiting Healthcare Associates of Irving for more than a decade. We recently moved to Savannah and Irving being more than 35 miles, I was happy to find their Aubrey Location. I scheduled annual physical with Dr. Khan. She hardly spend 2minutes with her patients and will schedule a tele-followup to discuss your test results where She won't even spend 30secs and will submit a claim to Insurance. You will never feel connected with your PCP. Dr. Khan prescribes medicines similar to an intern working on guinea pigs. She was like - why are you taking 3 medications for Hypertension, lets do just 1 with double dosage. On next follow-up, She added the 2nd one with double dosage, and on the 3rd followup, added the 3rd one as well with double dosage. So, now, I was back to my same old 3 medicines but with double dosage. Does it sound like someone doing a Research project during their Residency on a guinea pig. I switched back to My old PCP and in fact, he reduced all the dosages to original half dosages, and my blood pressure is working just fine and within 125 and 82 range. Just Beware when you decide to see this doctor.

This was my first appointment as a new patient, as you can imagine first impressions make a big difference. I did not feel the experience was personable. My blood pressure was oddly elevated and I have no medical history, yet the doctor was quick to diagnose me with hypertension and prescribe anti-hypertensives. Despite explaining my recent stressors, they were dismissive of the idea of maybe waiting a couple weeks of monitor blood pressures and then prescribe an anti-hypertensive.

Dr and staff are great. On the other hand having me coming in once a week for BP Check and charging me full price vist is just robbery.
