List of Accentcare Home Health's Reviews
I tried to apply at Accent Care. The employee Penny was very rude. Please ask for someone else if you want a job there. I've been a caregiver for over 20 yrs. The online ad says $18 an hour, but Penny said it was $17 an hour. False advertisement! I told her, "There's companies paying more here in Georgetown." Penny's reply, "Well go apply there!" What the heck. I'll call corporate Monday morning. Pennie or Penny, please don't go through her.
While reviewing old paperwork, I stumbled upon my father's folder for in-home therapy, which brought back distressing memories of the nurses who visited us. Unfortunately, their interactions with both my father and me were consistently rough. Eventually, he pleaded with me to cancel the services. It's disheartening to think that after working diligently for benefits, utilizing them becomes daunting due to fear of poor treatment. Despite the high praise healthcare professionals often receive, genuine compassion and empathy are rare qualities.
I would love to work with you 💕 guys
When LYNNET left today. She said she would schedule my appointment for tomorrow. She texted me 2ish. I had realized tomorrow is a day I don’t schedule appointments for. For personal reasons. She texted back about strict protocol with Texas Orthopedic. It’s not like I can’t do the sheet of PT by myself. That’s all we do. Tomorrow is my Mom’s Birthday who passed away from Cancer. She told me I had to be the one to refused. She also seems to of over scheduled herself. I don’t like the word ish after a time. I am sure Texas Orthopedic’s would understand a day that you set aside to remember a loss. I don’t schedule appointments on my Dad’s birthday either.
I own and operate a small boutique Assisted Living facility. Over the past year I've used Accent Care for nursing care and physical therapy for my clients.
My experience has been positive.
The individuals helping my clients have been professional, prompt and courteous.
Debbie was very sweet polite and very helpful. Very down to earth and caring staff.
Always kind!
Do not trust these people in your home. 2 of their employees were outstanding....the company doesn"t deserve them. ..overworked, poorly treated. Other employees and the business model, frustrating at best and useless waste of taxpayer money. Borders on fraud. No value added...my mother was no better off with their "nursing " visits. Took vital signs, logged them, left. Physical therapy for a short time was useful, alas, only for a short duration.

Shared my problems/concerns with management: too many different staff, no continuity so no relationship or baseline established, too many short notice or no notice visits, staff not talking loud enough to engage with the patient who is hard of hearing....(misattributed to dementia which had real consequences and took effort to correct in her records)..... Instead of resolving issues, making appropriate changes like speaking louder, honoring patient's request to be called Mrs (last name) instead of "sweetie", making appointments 24 hrs in advance, and showing up on time, they wrote up very negative, hateful, and inaccurate profile in patient file. Effectively serves to cover their tails and get a kind of retribution by making it hard to hire anyone else. Be careful of these folks. Any company that assigns a physical therapist 11 and 12 patients a day and works them 13 days straight is not concerned about quality. Just billables. The almighty dollar.
RUN, RUN, RUN as far away as you can! This company will take your money and wont do anything for your loveones. They wont see your family even for emergency!
When I was in round rock medical I informed the agency I was being discharged on a particular date and before that date Stephanie johns came to see me about my in home pt said it would take 24-48 hours to get the process started, well I have been home for over a month now and still no communication from anyone at accent care! She even said I probably would not owe them any thing, I thought great, she did not ask my address, my phone number, email address so I thought she already had that, so this is your review if I could of given less than a 1 I would of! You would think an account executive would of at least contacted me to let me know that perhaps Medicare or my private insurance would not for some reason pay for the in home therapy! This place was one of 4 the hospital suggested! Now frankly I will not recommend accent care to anyone it is poor business management when someone like accent care doesn’t even make the effort to contact the person who choose them !

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
