had a fusion of C6 and C7. Surgery was at 6:30AM and I went home at 3:00PM. One pain pill that night just in case and never needed another. Wore the foam collar for a month and now back to normal with no pain. He is a A+ in my opinion. Post surgery x-rays are attached

I had a spinal injury that damaged a nerve cluster in my L4-L5 area. What appeared to be sciatic nerve pain was something much worse. He discovered the issue and listened to my concerns and then gave me my options and his recommendations. I chose the surgical procedure and I am so glad I did. This man is a miracle worker…period! I came out with minimal issues. My recovery time was easy going and quick, and I was able to return to work 2 weeks earlier than we had projected. My nerve issues were corrected, and the pain in my hips, which I thought were a separate issue, was completely gone. I have the same strength and use of my legs and back as I did in high school. (I’m 49 now).If you’re scared to get surgery because of stories you heard from a coworker who had a cousin of a friend….(you know what I mean)…don’t listen to them, go see Dr Bagheri at Seton and get the facts yourself. Dr “B” is an exceptional medical professional. I speak from experience as a retired military officer having seen my share of doctors in my 25 year tenure. My visits, along with my wife, have always left the two of us grateful for his attentive care and concern. He and his medical assistant, Oralia, proved to have an in-depth understanding of patient desires and needs. I did not have a great experience. Dr.Bagheri lacks emotions and didn't seem to care about helping me. I came in just for him to access my spine and he fat shamed me and was bother by my age. I had gained a lot of weight due to another condition I have, which isn't what I came in for. Dr's need to stop saying "Just lose weight and it'll solve all your problems" Weight can't fix everything. I just came back from getting my X-ray and he knocked on the door, then he just walked in. He didn't even say you good for me to come in, I was gonna change. I asked what can we do about my pain then and he said "well due to your age I don't wanna send you to pain management but I will" Please stop referring to my age, I have a lot of medical issues with me and my family history, it just happens. I don't want y'all just to put injections in me and carry on. I felt disrespected and just kicked out the door. The x-ray tech was super nice and the medical assistant to. Dr.Bagheri is the MOST CARING DOCTOR ON THE PLANET!!!!!! I heard he was one of the top spine surgeons in the city so I had to check him out. He is hands down the best doctor I’ve ever been to. Incredibly humble, caring and a good listener. If you need a spine guy, he’s your man.

Dr. Ali Bagheri is a compassionate, caring doctor who fights for his patients to get the best care, and treats them as if they are family. He is such a good listener and cannot say enough how CARING he is!!! Countless times I’ve seen him put his life on hold to do trauma surgeries late at night which could have been done in the morning, because that’s what he would do for his own family. He talked to me with respect and kindness and kept me informed on details and progress. His staff was also so very caring and competent.
