Medical bill transparency is one of the most important changes we need right now. Instead of charging my insurance first to let me know what my out of pocket would be, they waited until after the procedure and sent me a bill for $300 weeks later. Most doctors offices I have worked with have always given me an out of pocket cost BEFORE the procedure is done. I asked why they aren’t transparent with pricing and their billing lady said it’s not her job lol this is also after I had been calling for two weeks asking for someone from billing to contact me. She also mentioned that she’s not even in Texas and is not aware of any Texas medical billing laws.

Austin Foot and Ankle Specialists Dr. Thomajan has been great! I've been in for 3 separate issues with my feet in the last 12 months and he has remedied all of them. Can't imagine going anywhere else.

Took my 18 month old here, she broke her toe. She was seen by Dr.Chica who was very patient and kind. She healed perfectly fine. I was very satisfied with the level of care given.

A great experience. The staff here is very nice and Dr. Thomajan is a very good podiatrist. I got a minor surgery from him years ago, and going in this time, he helped with some tips and trick and I might be able to go without surgery this time. I appreciate the candor, and would reccomend this office for anything ailing your foot.

Dr. Chica is a fantastic doctor. I’ve been going to him for the past 3ish months, and I got my foot surgery done today to remove a scar tissue mass and piece of glass from my foot. It all went very smoothly and Dr. Chica answered all my questions and made me feel super comfortable, and this allowed me to trust him 100%. He was very happy with his work after the surgery, so I feel very confident in him. Leading up to the surgery, he consistently took care of me at each appointment and always listened to me. He’s a kind, educated, caring guy, and I’d recommend him to anyone.

Dr. Thomajan is such a great podiatrist. I came in with a wound on my foot and it looked infected. instead of throwing random antibiotics at it, he cultured it to find out what it was. And then ordered the correct antibiotics for it. I am a registered nurse, so to me, that is extremely important and professional. he is super friendly, and his staff is incredible. I have had foot and ankle problems for 20+ years, and as a nurse, I am always on my feet. They have been able to help me so much, and I highly recommend them!

The service by the Doctor here, Dr. Thomajan, is world class. Everything's extremely punctual, the office is so clean, the equipment is all in great condition, and the pricing is completely fair. Most importantly Doctor Thomajan gets an A+ from me in both knowing his stuff and being able to both communicate it and put it into practice. I am completely satisfied with my experience here (and feel so much better after my toenail was fixed) and will be letting my friends and family know about this place. Just outstanding, thank you so, so, so much, Doctor!
