Found Dr. Patel after an ankle injury recently and was hopeful for some help due to the extreme pain I was having. Unfortunately that was not the case when I had my appointment recently. When I got to the room I was told that if the doctor felt that I needed X-rays I would be sent elsewhere since they do not have a machine and that I should get orthotics (that would not be included by insurance and about $90) even though I shared that I already have some. I went in and shared symptoms of pain in my ankle when I’m standing, walking or running (this injury was caused by running). Dr. Patel poked at my foot and bent it around for a few minutes then determined that “maybe” I have a weak ankle so I should go to physical therapy for four weeks (once a week) and not run, which I expected not to be able to run because of the pain I’m in. I was also questioned “well it’s not like you’re training for a marathon” when I shared how often I run which I find pointless as I shared that running is something that is in my day to day life and makes me a healthier individual. The doctor never asked me to stand, walk, balance or any type of stress test on my ankle which I thought was strange. I was told to do basic PT and to get a lace up boot even though I described extreme pain in my ankle that was shooting up to my knee and hip. Unsatisfied from my appointment I decided to get a second opinion where I found out I actually have a stress fracture after getting X-rays done! I am currently in a walking boot for the next few weeks and will be getting an MRI to see if there is any tendon damage as well, which was requested by my second opinion doctor. I decided to read reviews of this office and noticed that I am not the only person who has experienced a not thorough examination and went to a second opinion doctor to find that they too had a stress fracture. Overall I am extremely disappointed by the incompetence, lack of thoroughness in examination as well as lack of confidence in what the doctor was sharing with me. I hope that nobody else has to experience what I experienced with this office.

Amazing and helpful staff. Dr. Patel is friendly and quick with his work. There is easily available close parking for anyone with mobility troubles. The front desk staff are kind and work to be flexible with your schedule. Payment is transparent and painless. Would highly recommend to anyone.

This office is trying to charge me the entire cost after charging my insurance and receiving the money. They keep claiming that my insurance company didn't pay them and I'm responsible for the original balance of $320 for a 5 min touching of my foot and trying to sell me products. I called my insurance company and they said the provider cashed the full amount 1 week after my visit so either they are trying to find loopholes and steal more money or the finance department lost the money and trying to punish the patient. Also, it is impossible to get a hold of them. No one answers the phone or returns voicemails.

Black Women are so not heard in the medical field and I truly felt that today. We are seen as aggressive, rude and less than. The treatment given to me today by Jane, made me feed into that aggressive stereotype as she was aggressive, dismissive , and condescending. 10/12/23 made my second unpleasant experience with JANE. I decided to go to the research office for help because I had sent two portal messages and on 9/7/23 and they went unanswered. I was told by the other front desk staff that dr. R. Patel had read them ( what good does that do). The doctor told me that he told the front desk staff to take care of it. They did not. Jane started acting very agitated when I wanted her to simply read my message and answer the questions in the message. Jane was very condescending and unprofessional, so I returned that same energy when she decided to storm off in the middle of me talking. Even after talking to Dr. Patel in a private room, he was under the impression from Jane that my issue was stemming from something it was not. Jane needs to be put in the back to not deal with patients or something. She makes this office and every office unpleasant. UPDATE: as of 10/19/23. I still have not received any communication from The staff or doctor. The day of my initial review I was assured by Dr. R. Patel that he would personally send me forms and information about an in office procedure as well as send a prescription in, neither of which happened. Choosing another physician to be in charge of my care.

This is the absolute worst place to try and get your detailed bill from. The lady that answered the phone hung up on me and when try calling right back she want answer the phone. This is not a professional office.

The front office is very nice and the place is clean and professional. However the doctor barely touched my foot after I explained my symptoms, he just sold me some inserts. I was hopeful that would do it but when my foot started to swell I decided to get a second opinion...turned out I have a stress fracture after getting xrays. I do not recommend this place for foot care, I do not feel like the doctor took the time to assess me to give me the care I needed.

Read about the nasty receptionists before coming here. A few months ago I had an unpleasant experience with Mo and Jane. Mo keeps emailing me twice a day s statement that has been taken care of by insurance. She has threatened me thinking I owe this place $63. The office is also refusing to give my records to another doctor. I’m getting surgery and insurance won’t cover more X-rays. I asked for my x rays and records and a lady named Jane cussed me out. My doctor called this office and it was the same deal. Insults and cussing by Mo and Jane. Of course I can’t get through to the doc for help

It doesn't even deserve the one star, as soon as I arrived, a woman comes out of the back and says that I have to put a card on file and that they don't bill the portion that your insurance doesn't pay. I felt this was very racist because they did not ask the other two patients who were a different race to do the same. They are horrible, stay away!

Everyone is so nice. And Dr. Patel is specific with what is wrong and how to fix it. Shout out to Jane and Mo. They work hard and still do a good job connecting with patients.
