No complaints about the care itself, great psychiatric care, but when you have urgent business, you'll call all day with no one answering the phone, returning voicemails, or responding to electronic messages.
I think everyone can agree when you move out of state and have to find a new doctor - specifically a new psych doctor - it is a STRUGGLE. I did so much research and found Dr. Khan and have been so thankful that I went with him. He can answer any and all questions - he CARES about you and your well-being and has been so vital to not only my mental health but my overall health. He will ask the right questions and will not stop till you are where you should be. He is so quick to respond to emails and I can't recommend him enough!
This place was somewhat helpful but still uses outdated/harmful diagnoses (Aspergers) and with my first appt Dr Khan had said I fall under the Autism spectrum, but wouldnt give me a written diagnosis unless I got a brain scan to determine whether it was autism or aspergers, and was quite prescription-happy. The video call appts have very poor connection
Ever since I started seeing Dr. Khan 2 years ago, so much of my life has improved. His ability to listen, guide, and help make me question why I had to try so many other doctors before him. The ability to do video calls from a browser are also great.
Dr. Khan helped me out in many ways for years! 10/10 would recommend. He has truly changed my life for the better and has helped me become a better version of myself.
Finding the right fit can be very difficult especially when you need an appointment right away. We found Dr. Khan by the grace of God a year ago will continue to use him until the kid is an adult. Dr. Khan truly cares about his patients. If you’re looking for someone who’s going to just hand out meds and send you on the way he’s not it. But if you’re looking for someone who actually cares about how your kid is doing day to day, is readily available if there’s concerns, and strives to find the best medication for the over all health of your kid then he’s your doctor! Dr. Khan is very easy to talk to and always shows compassion, concern, kindness and a desire to keep all family members educated and involved in treatment plan. The kid and I can’t say enough good things about him!
I am sorry to give a less positive review, but we saw Dr. Khan virtually to see if he would be a good fit for my daughter's medication management, and we couldn't tell if it was technology issues getting in the way, but we had a hard time communicating with the doctor. It was the end of the day and we felt he was agitated and surprised by the things we were sharing. He did give advice to take medication at night, and that was good, but we are not returning.
Where do I even start.... This is going to be long but if you're contemplating seeing him, read this... it's worth it. I've been seeing a psychiatrist since I was 8 years old for depression, anxiety, OCD, ADHD and most recently PTSD. I have had such horrible experiences with other psychiatrists in the past, specifically doctors in Florida (the land of not-so-nice doctors). I started seeing Dr. Khan several months ago and I have always had the best experiences, ever since my first appointment. Not only him, but his office as well (always on top of medication refills, I never have to hound them for that). Dr Khan is so very attentive. He doesn't just listen surface level, then push prescriptions on you without explanation or consideration. He practices active listening, and engages in legitimate conversations with you. He likes to get an idea of your entire wellbeing, not just 5 minutes talking about what meds you might need. He'll ask me questions about my job, my husband, how I'm doing health wise. He actually cares, and it's like I'm talking to a friend. He also was quick to be willing to work with my PCP to achieve full body/mind wellness, rather than just focusing on his part. I know if I need to speak with him in between appointments, he will do whatever it takes to make that happen. There was one time, where I was struggling so bad with my anxiety, I emailed his office at 2am on a Saturday, mid panic attack, and received a text about 6 hours later with an appointment scheduled (which later, his office confirmed that he, himself, made this appointment in order to speak with me ASAP). I can't express enough how much that meant to me, to know that I wasn't alone, that I had support and I had a caring doctor to fall back on and turn to in these times of distress, where I honestly thought my email would go unnoticed at least until business hours Monday. Then, during that subsequent appointment, he talked me through my panic attacks, what I feel, what may have been causing it, validated my feelings around it and we strategized some coping mechanisms moving forward, and he included me in my own treatment plan (rather than "here's what were going to do, no discussion, etc.). He INVOLVES you in YOUR OWN treatment which one would think should be obvious, but not every doctor does. When I was in the hospital, for other reasons not associated with psychiatric, he called to check on me. When I wasn't understanding something my neurologist was trying to tell me, and I didn't feel comfortable asking my neurologist to explain further, I asked Dr. Khan if he can break it down in laments terms. I felt comfortable enough to "ask those dumb questions" and he never makes me FEEL like I'm asking dumb questions. I know that sounds trivial, but that's important. MOST importantantly though, I know when I'm talking to him that he's actually listening, and cares, to what I have to say. I've never felt that "doctor superiority complex" with him like I've experienced with other doctors. He's human, and he talks to you as a fellow human. I've never met such a gentle, kind, attentive doctor. Thank you so much, Dr. Khan, for all that you are and all that you do to help me, and I'm sure so many others.
I started seeing Dr. Khan a few months shy of a year now and I have to say my experience has been better than I could have hoped for. The office staff has been so helpful in answering questions I have, working around my busy work schedule and filling my prescriptions on time. When I have my sessions with Dr. Khan he is very attentive and makes me feel comfortable/validated. If you are looking for an office that's consistent and always looking for your best interest, I'd definitely recommend him!
I have had only the kindest and most helpful experiences with this office and look forward to every appointment. Dr. Khan is a sweetheart and I would recommend him to anyone!

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
