In September 2022, Dr Turvey performed surgery twice on my left ankle for a pilon fracture. First surgery was to place an external fixator and the second was to repair the lower ankle bones with hardware. Due to his excellent orthopedic skills (and with physical therapy); I am walking again! Dr. Turvey is a kind and patient doctor with a genuine interest of seeing you through your injury to healing. He’s thorough at explaining what to expect in the process and really listens to your questions and concerns. With the level of care Dr. Turvey displayed to myself? I confidently recommend him to anyone needing help in his field of expertise. Also, his nurses are great!

My experience at Texas Ortho has been GREAT minus last Thursday with the miscommunication. BUT Dr. Turvery called me personally Friday afternoon to call me and apologize. He then talked to me about my injury. I had an appointment to meet him in perSon yesterday and boy he’s GREAT! His nurses were awesome too! I’m very glad to be under his care for the next few months. Dr. Abblitt, who originally saw me when I got injured, is amazing too. I happened to run into him yesterday after my appointment and he remembered me and was happy I don’t have have surgery and we even fist bumped! Thank you!

Dr Turvey was brought in for my husbands trauma to a wrist after a fall. He was nothing but professional, explained everything in layman’s terms and provided excellent advise. Glad he was called in.

I recently saw and was operated on Dr. Blake Turvey at Seton Ascension Hospital in Round Rock, Texas. He was a delight; friendly, not arrogant, thoughtful, and kind. After several attempts, which were understandable, he successfully operated on my sacrum after I had fractured it in a fall. Today, I'm home recovering and still grateful to have met Dr. Turvey. While several other doctors failed to diagnose my fractured pelvis, Dr. Turvey was determined and convinced that my pain was real and it was getting worse. If you live in the Round Rock/Austin area and you're looking for a superb orthopedic surgeon, call him. You will enjoy knowing him and depending on him to help you recover!
