Dr. Frank has kept me out of pain with zero medication for 7 years. I’m so glad I found him, he and his staff are THE BEST!
He has kept me pain free for seven years. No medication needed! I am so thankful to have found him. He and his staff are THE BEST.
the doctors might be ok, however this office will not answer the phone, call your scripts in on time, and the wait could be hours, I would try and find another place.
Too classy for Medicaid members. I guess we just have to suffer since we r broke.
Dr. Frank is not a caring pain management specialist. His last office closed unexpectedly and now he is in an orthopedic office. I would not rely on him for any quality help. There are many good caring folks in Austin who have a steady track record- I would recommend them over Frank.
The staff assured me before the appointment that they'd get my x-rays from my other physician. The Direct Orthopedic Care staff dropped the ball here, but still charged me to take another set of x-rays. Afterward, they kept me waiting an hour before I finally saw Dr. Frank. We looked at the x-rays together and he admitted he'd "never seen" the issue I had before, but had read about it. Then he suggested two alternatives: physical therapy, or prodding me with needles and burning off nerve tissue in a "guess-and-check" style approach. He declined my request for an MRI, which is a far less invasive procedure. I chose to go with their in-house physical therapy. Their therapist (Dr. Yohe) screwed up my back even more than it was before, performing an "adjustment", which is a barbaric, unscientific, dangerous practice. I highly discourage anyone from coming to Direct Orthopedic Care, nor any of the medical professionals who work here.

Their therapist (Dr. Yohe) screwed up my back even more than it was before, performing an "adjustment" without my consent, which (as I later read) is a barbaric, unscientific, dangerous practice that can paralyze patients for life. I'm so happy I found Dr. Frank! If you ever need help with your pain, I highly recommend Dr. Frank!!
Dr Frank is the first & best Pain & Medical doctor I have ever been to in the Austin area and believe me I have had to weed thru a few in the last 8 years I've been here. And his whole staff is just the greatest team ever! Thank you all for you help in getting me back onto my feet again. Rhonda Beckham
I transferred to Dr Frank when I needed to change doctors. Texas Monthly's top doctor of the year, I believe twice and allot of numerous other prestigious awards on his record does nothing to explain his great personal care and concerns for you as a person in pain. He is amazing and can take care of any and all your pain management needs. I have 4 family members and numerous friends that are ...

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
