List of Carmahealth's Reviews
I love this place and highly recommended it. Hopefully the video visits will extended since i do have to drive 45 miles.
Dr.Powell has given me the hope I have wanted to have for years. I had given up. After my first visit with him - I literally cried tears of joy after - I FINALLY had the confidence that my treatment plan WILL work. I honestly did not plan on getting much help out of this appointment with my unique case but it was worth a shot. Dr.Powell is extremely understanding and listens to your concerns, answers questions, and I completely trust him with my treatment plan. Not only was my doctor phenomenol , but there was an issue with my pharmacy and I had to call his office multiple times unfortunately due to the pharmacy being difficult. Every receptionist I spoke with was extremely helpful, also answering questions as to why my pharmacy was being difficult, and got the messages to Dr. Powell ASAP. Thank you carmahealth for giving me the confidence that I AM going to get better without any doubts.-Mikey

Called 3 days early to have my medication processed on time before running out.It is officially been 5 days post running out of meds and am being told now wont receive it for another 7 days minimum unless the dr replies to insurance. This has put me in soo much mental distress I'm about to have a nervous breakdown and now nobody's answering.
I had an appointment scheduled on Jan. 13, they canceled it due to inclement weather and then CHOSE a new appointment date for me without telling me. The “pay” button on telehealth doesn’t work, which I wasn’t told, and they told me I had to pay $90 in past co pays. Never coming back her again. Disappointing and unprofessional for a drs office.
I am so grateful to Carma Health, especially Dr. Powell for being a caring, compassionate and one of the most professional clinicians that has treated my unique case. I was on the verge of giving up all hope before being referred and becoming a patient. Thanks for the kind staff and nurses - the clinic ensures that they as well as I remain compliant which is critical for my continued road in recovery.
Dr. Powell is the best doctor i have ever had .Patient and very kind . I would recommend him and Staff the to any one .Great Place
Impossible to find, location is on Industrial dr, not S Congress. No sign out front. Almost gave up trying to find. Did not answer phone calls during operating hours.Reception not wearing face mask in the middle of covid-19.Will not return.
Dr. Powell is great, but this a horrible office. I submitted a refill request Wednesday early afternoon, it is now Friday and nobody has gotten back to me. And before someone lies and says I didn’t do a voicemail for a refill request, I did, and it was a long detailed vm made Wednesday afternoon around 2pm.How this office handles refill requests is entirely unacceptable, but I’ve never had this much of an issue before now. Separately, it’s 9:41 AM and I can’t even reach the front desk line to make an appointment to talk to a live person, and your office is definitely open today. You’re about to lose me as a patient, and I’ve been coming here for over a year. Not a good look.
Their doctors seem competent, but their office staff is inconsistent, non-responsive, and generally horrible. And their "Patient Portal" is circa 2010. Overall, the organization is haphazardly operated.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
