Dr. Kuhns is the worst. I've had 5 back surgeries and 1 neck from this guy, the 1st in 2014 was great. The next one I was in a car accident and my legs went numb so he went  in and when I woke up I was in a lot of pain so he goes back in a month later still no relief. I've been chasing this dragging ever since he fused me from the SI joint to T10 I'm in more pain than ever so I keep going back to him and he tells me nothing is wrong 4 months ago both rods broke and he tells me the bones did not heal right so which is it nothings wrong or the bones didn't heal, since I've started questioning what been going on they have stopped all treatment. Please do yourself don't walk but run if you can this guy is bad news.

I’ve had 5 back and 1 neck surgery by Dr. Kuhns the 1st was great then 2 years latter I was in a wreck and legs went numb, so he did another surgery when I woke up from surgery I was in a lot of pain so he had to go back in a month later which did not fix what he messed up on the second surgery, to make a real long 7 year story short I now can barely walk and Dr. Kuhns could careless he is so arrogant and proud of his work he doesn’t understand he ruins peoples lives cashes the insurance check and goes on while i lay around in pain.I’ve lost all Quality of life. I hope it’s worth it to you Dr. Kuhns!

Dr Kuhns’s has performed 2 separate Lumbar fusions on my back. Dr Kuhn’s is very professional and knowledgeable, and he explained both pre-op and post-op protocols very well. I felt very comfortable going into both of my surgeries. I’m 6 years post op from surgery #1 and 6 months post op from my second lumbar fusion. My activity level is completely normal with no pain. Dr Kuhn’s is an amazing surgeon! I highly recommend Dr Kuhn’s.

I was one of Dr. Kuhns patients as he had done my lower back surgery and my neck surgery in Columbia. Missouri. He has the best bedside manner and the best spine doctor around. Wish he hadn't left Columbia Because as the years have gone by I am having more back issues and not sure who to go to. Paul Farris.

If you have back or spine issues Dr. Kuhns and his medical staff are the people to see!!!!  His mannerisms along with his ability to truly listen and understand what your issues are by far THE BEST YOU'LL COME ACROSS!!!He offered alternative options for my situation to give me long-term pain resolution to prolong needing the spine surgery.  Although after exhausting the other options through his referral, those were unsuccessful , thus needing the neck surgery after all.  His medical staff are ROCK STARS!!!!  So pleasant and helpful no matter how many questions or concerns you have..they are always so friendly to ease your mind and assure you that they have it all under control!!  BIG SHOUT OUT TO:  DR. KUHNS, PAIGE, MARGIE...just to name a few---THANK YOU for providing such a pleasant experience with Pre-op process along with making sure I'm all set up for the aftercare to come.  Everyone associated with his office honestly has given me  peace of mind and renewed my FAITH in my healthcare ---treating me like a person, vs. just a patient...not wanting to herd me in and herd me out like so many others I've experienced--and trust me I've seen more than most!!I'm grateful and blessed I will be in his care for my neck/back spine surgeries to provide relief from the debilitating pain I've been in for far too long now.His TEAM should be the RULE/STANDARD  of our healthcare rather than the exception!!  People should take notice---or notes, whichever might apply...:)I gladly put my Faith and Trust in Dr. Kuhns professional hands any day!Stay Blessed as We Walk by Faith!!Best Regards,Terri Taylor

The staff is nice and friendly and helpful. No long waits. Dr. Kuhn is awesome. He listens, explains and will take care of you the best he can. I wish I had seen him first instead of the spine doctors before him.

I had a family member that had cervical radiculopathy and we met with several Orthopedics in the Austin area. We got x-rays and MRIs done once we got the orders in and I have to say that I am 100% glad that we went with Dr. Kuhns (Austin Spine.) He recommended ACDF because there wasn't a non-invasive approach available otherwise he would've suggested alternatives to surgery. He's a fantastic orthopedic surgeon with amazing staff (kudos to Dr. Drew). Very sincere and considerate towards his patients and also very patient himself in educating us about the root causes of my family member's affliction. One thing that should assure you is that he works to make sure the procedure is in line with best practices and what most insurances will cover. And more importantly, the family member is doing well and has no more pain.I would highly recommend Dr. Kuhns and Austin Spine as your go-to orthopedic surgeon and provider. The only thing is that he's so in demand but if you can get an appointment with him, then go for it.

Dr. Kuhn’s office and surgical staff are simply the best while Dr. Kuhn’s is Austin’s very best spine surgeon.

Dr. Kuhns did a very complicated lumbar surgery on me a year ago; I have had a great outcome. Office staff is helpful and takes care of whatever needs to be done.

I was treated promptly and respectfully. Procedures wew explained well, so the I could understand what was going on and my options for treatment.Well done!
