List of Daniel Rasor's Reviews
I was seeing Dr Rasor in 2016-2018 due to excruciating pain I was feeling in my thighs and groin. He wrote me off and kept telling me it was probably an STD. When the results came back negative he treated me like all I was looking for was painkillers. Fast forward to 2019, and it turns out I had/have Avascular Necrosis, something he would have caught if he had taken me seriously at all. I strongly believe my condition would have been actually manageable without deteriorating so quickly to the point of needing new hip replacements if he had actually listened to what I was telling him about the pain I was feeling. It’s almost like he wrote me off as a pill addict just because of my long haired appearance like I was making it all up wasting his time. He just doesn’t care about his patients.
If you have the opportunity to choose another provider, STAY AWAY from Dr. Rasor. Had abrasive interactions with his staff and him. I am an injured Veteran and he has his own opinions about the military, which are not worth repeating. He is a disgrace and I'm so glad I didn't have multiple visits in that horrible place
Been my primary care doctor for years. Very pleased with Dr. Rasor. Always very caring and concerned about my issues.
Dr. Dan Rasor is my primary physician. He listens well and has always been very helpful in making sure I am getting the best care.
I seems that folks here are getting the practice confused with the practitioner. I know how irritating it is to have to wait, but that happens when a doctor gives every patient all the time they need without rushing things. I can attest that you too will get his full attention as soon as the person in front of you has asked all their questions. For my part I have followed Dr Rasor through his work at a few different practices because there is no one I trust more. I have been seeing him for nearly 20 years and I have always found him very competent and compassionate. He is a GENERAL FAMILY PRACTITIONER, and a great one at that. He does not specialize in any specific medical condition, but instead has referred me to specialists when he hits the limit of his medical expertise. As for those of you who did not get the medication you were looking for, I’m sorry. He has always prescribed what he thought was appropriate for the condition, and is more then willing to reevaluate things if I’m not improving. Dr. Rasor and his staff are amazing. I’m sure there are other great doctors out there, but if you need a good review to help you decide I am more then happy to oblige.
This doctor has recently rejoined Marchand and Associates family medicine. He is a long time doctor in the Austin area.
I have been a patient of Dr. Rasor’s for over 25 years. Dr. Rasor is thorough, friendly, and listens to what I have to say or answers questions. He is a great doctor, and I trust him completely.
Highly recommend. Professional staff. Nurse was very courteous. Dr. Rasor was very helpful and got straight to the point.
Dr. Rasor is a wonderful physician and provided an excellent healthcare experience. Many primary care providers are content to treat surface level symptoms, but Dr. Rasor shows clear dedication to your holistic health. This practice offers a full range of care options so you won’t need to be referred out for basic tests, etc. I am excited to have found such a wonderful primary care physician. Thank you, Dr. Rasor.
Be warned he is one of those doctors that does not listen to patients. Also, just know he went to medical school in Mexico (what you do when you dont get into a US medical school and receive subpar medical training as a result. I have had strep throat eight times in the past. At first, I was prescribed amoxicillin, which did not work. Afterward, every time I have been prescribed z-packs that work immediately. With doctor Rasor, I mentioned multiple times I needed Z-packs for my strep throat. He refused very rudely, yelling at me “to forget about the last times” and that “this is the right medicine for it”. I even called back after taking the amoxicillin and still getting worse. He refused and told me to wait 10 days and then come in and pay him for another appointment. The doctor Rasor is unprofessional, extremely rude and does not act in the best interest of the patient. He should not be practicing medicine.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
