Dr. Fleeger has been my doctor for over 20 years! He’s always been a good listener, very efficient and caring. God uses him and gives him wisdom with each patient. In my last episode he went above and beyond his duties to help me. Besides God, I thank Dr. Fleeger for his empathy and helping me to recover.

Poor education and poor follow up as well as poor outcome of surgery. I hope never to see him again. Billing person announced to the full waiting room that we had not paid. This was incorrect as well.A very miserable experience.

Dr Andrew Miller was our daughter's surgeon for colon cancer. After a routine colonoscopy unfortunately they found a tumor and we were all very frightened but Dr Miller was very professional, knowledgeable and reassuring. He included us in on a FaceTime consult showing a diagram of the surgery area and answering our questions. The surgery went very well our daughter had very little pain and we were all amazed at how quickly she recovered. Dr Miller is a gifted and skilled surgeon with a positive and empathetic manner. We would highly recommend this doctor.

Be careful. My father showed up for his post op appointment after driving in from Houston. They cancelled the appointment while he was waiting. Stating the doctor wasn't there. Told him he could come back maybe 3 days later. Never followed up or called him again to reschedule or check up on him. He died a few weeks later and no one from the office ever called us again or to follow up with us or offer condolences. Even after his surgery we had to call the office several times to even speak to a nurse for post op instructions and prescriptions. The nurse told me I needed to calm down. I can't believe she spoke to me like that as my Dad was in extreme pain! I said I would be more calm if she had called me back 7 hours ago. Please seek care elsewhere.

My son was a patient of Dr Fleeger. He saw Fleeger on Friday Oct 15 and passed on Wednesday Oct 25th. He passed of a heart attack brought on by septics due to a bowel blockage. How was that missed? Our son was sick. He had cancer but he didn’t pass from cancer. One would think knowing a patient is already sick the well paid doctor would pick up on an unusual 8 pound weight loss in one week. Maybe look at the bag or his stomach during each of his appointments. I was in the room so I know my son’s stomach area was not checked. I trusted Dr. Fleeger. Now our son is gone. We were constantly told our son was doing fine and he was going to be okay. He is not okay and our family is struggling with the lose of our first born, a big brother, a tec genius. Read his obituary he was a great young man.

I have been in healthcare a long time and I would definitely recommend Dr. Fleeger and his staff. Cindy, his MA made me feel comfortable at our first meeting, in an awkward situation. Dr Fleeger is a skilled surgeon and very good at what he does but in addition to his surgical skills, as a person, he proved to be considerate. I so appreciated him taking a few minutes to find me in a busy pre op suite to say good morning ask how I was doing, A small gesture, but it really put me at ease. I was surprised how much that helped. Further, the day after surgery Dr Fleeger and Cindy were quite prompt in responding to a need. Thank you Dr Fleeger and staff!

My husband had his routine 50-yr-old colonoscopy at the Austin VA Clinic (he's a veteran) and realized he had an aggressive adenoma that needed surgical intervention. Being a court reporter who listens to med-mal lawsuits for a living, I did my homework to find the best surgeon in this area.. Dr. Amar Shah. We were worked in quickly and never felt rushed during the consult. In fact, we closed the office down on Good Friday. Everyone from his medical assistant Alex to the scheduler Robin were kind, helpful, and efficient. My husband's ascending colon was removed a couple weeks later. Communication was wonderful throughout the entire process. Upon his release from the hospital over a weekend, we felt we needed to speak to Dr. Shah with some questions. We were called back within a few minutes and able to discuss our concerns. At our two-week follow-up appointment, it was a very short wait, we were greeted with competence and kindness, and all our questions were answered. Again, we never felt rushed. I would strongly recommend Dr. Shah to friends and family members in a heartbeat.

I recommend Dr. Kline and his team very highly. I was afflicted for several years with severe anemia, which impaired my life/work/travel. After an initial consultation and examination, Dr. Kline and his team recommended surgery, which was scheduled quickly and performed very professionally with clear recovery instructions. Recovery, which is reputed to be very cumbersome, was quick and unexpectedly painless due to his surgical experience & skills. Follow-up visits were timely and 2 month post-surgery, my iron counts are strong and I am doing 7-mile hikes. My family and I cannot thank Dr. Kline and his team enough for turning our life around. If you need help problem, please get help from Dr. Kline and his team. They care and that had made all the difference.

Y'all...this is for my female friends who are 50+...it's time for your colonoscopy. I know, you thought the yearly gyno appt was good enough, but ladies, you can't neglect the "other part" of that end. Dr. April Fox is who you need to see. Let's be real, no one enjoys going to a hiney doc, but when you do, please reach out to her. Their appointment schedulers still come across pretty unprofessional, but as I have stated in other reviews, stick it out because Dr. Fox is worth it. Her nurses and front desk staff are so nice...they know you'd rather be anywhere else but there, so they make it a point to make you feel comfy. Just go - stop putting it off...you will be relieved you did and you can check that box!
