David W. Terreson's Online Review Report Card

My first visit with Dr. Terreson was, well, not the best. I really thought we got off on the wrong foot and was dreading my follow up. Well, both of my subsequent visits have been very helpful, very thorough, even for virtual visits. He is very thorough and listened to what I told him about my family history. Dr. Terreson wants the best (and the best outcome) for his patients and I'm really glad that I returned for that second visit. His staff is also helpful and caring.

My wife and I have been loyal patients to Dr. Terreson for a few years, having been referred to him by our best friend / Doctor.We know that Dr. Terreson's credentials are impeccable, and we love our visits with him.We really like Dr. Terreson and would like to stay with him, but we have, since the Covid days, not been able to make contact with his office after several tries over the past 6 months.We had a video conference during the pandemic, during which he ordered a blood draw for me and assured us he would get back with us on the lab results. Never heard a word.... and could never get past his many gatekeepers to let him know.Dr. Terreson has been as late as 4 hours to one of our appointments, with several appointments being over an hour late. In about half of our appointments over the years we have waited in his front room for 45 minutes or more with no explanation, excuse, or even apology.Since we have to drive for almost an hour to get to his office, and then cannot be assured that he will be timely for our appointment.... we are considering a search for a new cardiologist.I would be passing all this along to Dr. Terreson, but have not been able to contact him for this entire year to date.

Dr. Terrison is the best. He listens carefully and explains everything clearly and with great detail; just what I want. I will continue to work with Dr. Terrison on a long term basis.

After a fainting incident that fractured the C1 vertebrae in my neck, requiring a visit to the St. David's ER, I later had my first visit with Dr. David Terreson who was highly recommended to me by my primary physician, Dr. John Murray. There was no wait and my appointment was on time; all staff very helpful and pleasant. The doctor's aid, David, was excellent and prepared me for Dr. Terreson's exam. Dr. Terreson is extremely competent, approachable and kind. He explained everything thoroughly and gave me sufficient time to ask all my questions. I have scheduled further tests with his office along with a follow-up appointment. I left feeling very confident I was in the best of hands for medical treatment by a brilliant and compassionate physician associated with St. David's, a top rated hospital and medical system.

Detailed care, no rush, great follow up and staff responsiveness.

My wife and I have been going to Cardio Texas for the past few years and feel very fortunate to have Dr. Terreson and his staff taking care of us. Dorothy Darby, ANP-BC is as thorough as anybody in the profession and Dr. Terreson always seems to have the time you need to discuss any issues and easily and clearly explains your options. I am 100% confident in Dr. Nairooz as well. We highly recommend Dr. Terreson and the great staff at Cardio Texas.
