I cannot say enough good things about Dr. Reid and the entire Restora team. I did a lot of research before deciding on Restora for my breast augmentation, even paid the non-refundable deposit to two other surgeons so I could have a thorough consultation - the experience from start to finish at Restora was unrivaled. Pre-surgery, all my questions were answered with patience and I never felt rushed or pressured…on the contrary, they go to great lengths to make sure your expectations align with the service they can provide. I felt so prepared going into the actual procedure. When the day finally came, the facility felt like a spa rather than a hospital and every attention to detail was considered (soft music, heated blanket, attentive staff….amazing). I’m grateful that my surgery was quick and uneventful and I went home the same day with minimal discomfort. Although they equipped me with all the medication I could possibly need, I found my recovery to be so smooth and I didn’t need any of the hard stuff. Two months out and I couldn’t be more thrilled with my new breasts. Pregnancy and breastfeeding had left them kinda sad and Dr. Reid brought them back to life! He listened to my wants (and more specifically, what I didn’t want) and achieved a look so natural and perfect, I wanna walk around topless all day long. *But of course I don’t…still wearing a supportive bra because I wanna protect this investment… I am so grateful to Dr. Reid, my entire team of nurses and staff and the whole Restora family. Thank you for making this process such a positive experience for me. To anyone considering Restora, I would highly recommend!

Spoiler alert: this review doesn't gush about how wonderful Dr. Reid and his staff are....but they are.I had an abdominoplasty with LipoSafe360, (trademarked), in November 2022. I chose Dr. Reid and Restora Austin after reading extensively about these two procedures. Dr. Reid and his partner, Dr. Gordon are the few plastic surgeons in the Austin area that are certified to do this type of "tummy tuck". I liked that the LipoSafe 360 is used to remove fat at one's flanks and back, to make a nicer appearance to one's figure. The LipoSafe is a different type of liposuction that is modified to give a smoother appearance to the areas treated.I received more than adequate pre-operative information, (printed and verbal), at my initial consultation. Dr. Reid visited with me at that consultation, and we discussed my medical conditions, his and my expectations and the plan for surgery.My nurse, Lauren, always responded to my queries within the day of my asking. I received clear and accurate information about financial options from Roxy. Roxy was also my very informed first contact at Restora Austin. From the first, she was friendly and welcoming.The day of surgery, I was greeted by the nurse at the Inspire Surgery Center, and treated with VIP care. I visited with Dr. Reid and the anesthesiologist prior to surgery. They put my concerns to rest so I walked into the OR feeling relaxed and optimistic that I was I good hands.Due to my age and some medical conditions, I was cared for overnight at the surgery center post-op. I had one-on-one care by a RN, who was wonderful, and who made sure I stayed pain free. As a side note, I would like to recommend that overnight stay, if you can afford it. It was nice to know someone was there to watch over me in those first few post-op hours.When I got home, since I had such good pre-op teaching, I was fully prepared for the post-op care, medications, and activity that I was supposed to do, and to advance my activity as instructed. Again, my nurse was available by phone or email. I felt so reassured by Lauren that my recovery was progressing normally.I was also well prepared for the lengthy recovery process. Be aware, this is NOT a quick surgery, or recovery. However, I am very happy with my results so far! My scars are nice and flat, no infection issues, and I LOVE my new figure. Highly recommend Dr. Reid and his team. From initial consult to my recovery from surgery, I was never let down or left hanging. He is an absolute perfectionist when it comes to giving you the results you want and need. I am a man of transsexual experience, and living my life for so long with gender dysphoria has made many things difficult. Often I have felt like my life was on hold because of things beyond my control. Dr. Reid fixed that. I feel like my body is normal and natural as a man, he did NOT disappoint and was very transparent throughout the entire process. Dr. Reid and his team, all of Restora, will not let you down. I can’t thank him enough.

I'm an older woman in y 60's, a mom of 5 kids and 7 grandchildren. I have been wanting a tummy tuck and breast reduction for many years and was finally able to get one. I searched around and then went with Dr Reid. The whole experience went very smoothly and has been life changing for me. Dr Reid and his staff were amazing!! They made me very comfortable throughout all steps of the procedure. I highly recommend him.

Dr. Reid is a phenomenal surgeon! After several consultations elsewhere I knew as soon as I met Dr. Reid and his team that I had found a winner. I am one year out from my mommy makeover and the results of my surgery are beyond what I expected. I look better than I did 15 years ago before having kids! Dr. Reid is highly skilled at what he does and has great bedside manner. In addition the front desk, patient coordinators, and nurses were all top notch. I felt well cared for each step of the way. I was nervous about taking the step to have surgery, but the entire experience was really positive. I could give each person 10/5 stars. Thank you Dr. Reid and the entire Restora staff!

Dr. Reid and his team were so amazing to work with. I first met Dr. Reid when I was considering this procedure back in 2017. I ultimately decided to go with him and his team because I appreciated his bedside manner and the Safe Lipo they use for their Tummy Tuck 360 is the only in Central Texas. Unfortunately some life changes forced me to wait a few years, but when I was ready, I knew exactly where I was going. I cannot explain how different it feels to have a functioning core again. After two c-sections, my abdominals were just not doing their job, not to mention the scaring and loose skin. I know the muscle repair and reduction in breast size alone, will increase my quality of life as I continue to age, but it also looks amazing. I cannot tell you enough how worth it this procedure is and how much it has improved my outlook on life. His team is so patient and supportive, the facilities are first class and the experience could not have been better. If you are considering anything like this - look no further than Dr. Reid and Restora!

Dr. Reid and his staff are wonderful. He truly has an eye for precision, and is an artist in the craft of plastic surgery. He is friendly, knowledgeable, and honest about what procedure(s) will be best for an individual body. I am 8 weeks post-op, and so pleased with my results.
