Jimmie has been very helpful and responsive to all of our needs in establishing a caregiving routine for my 104 year old mother who lives with me. The caregiver Jimmie paired us with (Charlessa) has been a great help and has been very kind and patient while providing care to Mom. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Elder Home Care to others.

Searching for someone to take care of your loved one can seem difficult, but Jimmie at Elder Home care can make the process less difficult. We called to talk about looking at our options and she was extremely detailed and educational about the process. So thankful people are out there to help us along with this journey.

Elder Care has been taking care of my mom for several months now. She has formed a bond with her various care givers. They are always on time and make accommodations if someone needs to reschedule so she’s never left without care. They also drive her to appointments and on errands. It’s a wonderful peace of mind having them take care of my mom!

I really appreciate the help I get for my spouse at home with Elder Home Care. They have all been caring and very good to her and her needs. And they enjoy it. The management has always been responsive which is so nice. I would definitely recommend this group!

I hired Elder Home Care to help me taking care of my elder friend, who has a dementia. I have tried using other senior care organizations before, but Elder Home Care has been the best to accommodate my friend’s needs. My friend doesn’t like to meet many new people, but She loves her caregiver Angela. Angela goes to see her during week and I go to see her weekend. I now have a great teammate taking care of my friend. When my friend fell recently, and was struggling on the floor of her apartment, Angela, who was at the door trying to visit her, felt something not right and called ambulance. She literally saved my friend’s life. My friend is now in the skilled nursing facility, and still asking Angela to come see her which she’s been doing. I’m so appreciative of Elder Care Home to go along with my caregiving journey!

Congratulations, Katrina! Your hands-on experience, training and compassion are ideal when assisting families to care for their loved ones. Your commitment to excellence while executing practical tasks respects and maintains the dignity and comfort of the person for whom you are caring. Whether it is in-depth Dementia education or other conditions for which a Family Caregiver requires additional support, you have the expertise to recognize needs and how to address them. For example, addressing agitation and aggression, activities for older adults, addressing behaviors when assisting with ADLs, assisting with bathing, eating, oral hygiene, activities and recreational therapy at home... for persons 18+, for older adults & for persons living with dementia. I know you value each person and trust that you will provide the care s/he needs...while giving Family Caregivers time to stay strong and nurturing.
