I’m truly surprised Dr. Potter has negative reviews. I had a breast reduction (E to B cup), a surgery I have wanted for almost 20 years, and my experience has been amazing. Dr. Potter came recommended from 4 different, in related people and every member of the staff have been amazing! The surgery went great, the recovery is going well, and everyone in the office, including Dr. Potter, have been so compassionate. I’m not trying to downplay anyone else’s experience, I’m just so surprised anyone had anything other than a stellar experience. This surgery has literally changed my life already and I cannot thank Dr. Potter and the clinic staff enough!

Dr potter rushed through all three of my surgeries. My breasts are still uneven and the scars are horrible. I regret going to her. There’s something off about her. Narcissist? Bipolar? Stay away!

I always feel so cared for when I leave Dr. Potters office. The entire team is amazing. I am so happy with my results.

As the significant other of a patient who previously had an experience with Dr. Elizabeth Potter, I would not recommend her services to anyone. My girlfriend underwent a mastopexy procedure under Dr. Potter's care, and the results were less than desirable. To begin with, the approximation lines around the areola looked like they were drawn by someone who was either drunk or had no idea what they were doing. I had serious concerns about this issue and raised the matter with Dr. Potter during a clinic visit. Instead of calmly addressing my concerns, Dr. Potter went from 0 to 100 in a matter of seconds, yelling at me as if I was the one who had made a mistake. Her behavior was completely unacceptable, and I was left feeling confused and disappointed. It is clear to me that Dr. Potter may have a habit of yelling at her physician assistants and surgical technicians. However, as the significant other to the patient, a person I have the utmost vested interest, I found her behavior towards me to be completely inappropriate. I do not appreciate being yelled at, regardless of what her interactions may be like with her staff. During my interaction with Dr. Potter, she didn't realize that I have clocked in nearly double the operating room hours as her and have assisted on cases where approximation lines are nearly invisible. This only made me more frustrated with her behavior, as I expected a higher level of professionalism from someone with her experience. If you hate yourself and your body, then perhaps Dr. Potter is the doctor for you. However, if you care about how you look post-op, I urge you to go somewhere else. I cannot stress this enough - if you value your physical appearance, Dr. Potter is not the doctor you want to see. Furthermore, if Dr. Potter is reading this, I would like to say that your behavior was completely inappropriate during our clinic visit. Your outburst showed your true self and made me question your level of professionalism. Additionally, I have a sneaking suspicion that your staff may not be the biggest fans of yours either. In conclusion, I do not recommend Dr. Elizabeth Potter to anyone seeking medical treatment. Her behavior was unprofessional, and her work left a lot to be desired. If you want to avoid disappointment and regret, look for another doctor who can provide better results and a more respectful bedside manner.

In 2016, Dr. Potter performed a left side reconstruction after i had undergone chemo and radiation and left side masectomy due to stage 3 cancer. Her demeanor was awesome, her confidence off the charts and I was so excited to have my new breast!! We decided on a DIEP flap surgery. Unfortunately, I was very thin and didnt have much tummy fat to work with. She assured me there was plenty and we should proceed. The first thing she told my husband post surgery was, I think we were a bit short on tummy fat! Since I had undergone extensive radiation at MD Anderson, there was considerable scar tissue and that was part of the problem. I chose her because she had been at MD Anderson and I thought she was familair with how they did things. Sadly the outcome was horrendous, painful and it exagerbates the lymphodema I was dealing with. Although she is very nice and confident, I would certainly not trust her with my breasts!!

I traveled to Austin for Diep Flap in November. Everyone in her office made the process so easy! The office is very organized. Dr. Potter has performed many Diep flap surgeries & because of this she is able to do the surgery much quicker than other surgeons I consulted with. I felt so much confidence in her from my very first appointment . She is highly skilled at her craft. I couldn’t be more pleased with my results.. even better than expected! If you’re considering Diep flap surgery, I would highly recommend Dr. Potter & her team.

Dr. Potter lacks empathy and talks down on you. Do not waste your time and find somebody else. Not that there is a shortage of plastic surgeons in Austin!

Dr Potter performed a reconstruction after a doubleastectomy almost 2 years ago. It was the absolute worst experience of my life. Dr Potter was the most uncaring doctor I've ever met. The surgery was botched, there are large pockets and I look deformed. I've had excruciating pain since the surgery and her response was that I needed to just learn to live with it, go out and live my life and go run a mile and to get over it. Anytime I tried explaining the pain I was in, how it's not normal, she wouldn't listen and just keeps saying I'm fine. I'm not fine, it shouldn't be painful to put clothes on or do everyday tasks such as showering. This experience has completely changed my life and flipped it upside down. She refused to see how the surgery was botched and said the pockets and severe rippling are "normal". I have met with another surgeon who will be removing the implants and trying to fix Dr Potters horrible botch job. Do NOT use Dr Potter. She was so rude and no bedside manners. She is very unprofessional and the surgery does not look anything like she promises it will.
