We are so grateful for the help of our caregiver, George, with the FirstLight Home Care Company, for his help to me and to my handicapped husband. It is really hard to be a personal caregiver all by myself. Mr. Bobby Scruggs came and visited with us in the hospital right before my husband was discharged. Then he brought George to our home himself and introduced him to my husband and me. George is very caring and sensitive. He has helped in so many ways. We cannot even describe how helpful George has been He goes above and beyond! And my husband really appreciates the care of a male when it comes to personal things, like going to the bathroom! We give him and his company, First Light Home Care, five stars, easily!! And that includes the company schedulers, as well.

Bobby and his wonderful team provide exceptional, compassionate care for families. The caregivers are professional, reliable, and truly treat clients like family. I would recommend FirstLight for anyone with caregiving needs in the Austin area!

I am so thankful for FirstLight Home Care. I had back surgery and needed help while I was recovering. Jessica came to my house so I could interview and set up an agreement with the times that best served my needs. The ladies who came to help were great. They allowed me to be independent but were there to help with all the bending, twisting and light lifting I could not do. They warmed my meals ,helped me with laundry and making up beds. They evened helped me replant some of my plants that I couldn’t manage. As I got stronger they encouraged me to gradually do a little more, keeping me from hurting my back. They were always prompt and engaged. I highly recommend their services.

This review has been a long time coming. I take care of my 86-year-old dad and honestly FirstLight Home Care has helped tremendously lighten my load. They take the initiative to help me in anyway needed. Whether it may be just helping with dad for the day with his necessities or helping with chores around the house. Everyone sent to our home has been kind, courteous, professional, and willing and able to help in anyway. Their schedulers and staff have patiently worked with us in our ever changing schedule.

Bobby's team came into my in-laws life at the right time. We were in desperate need for quality homecare for Mom and Dad. He's team started part time, providing personal, loving care for Dad.
