Gerald V Levy Md's Online Review Report Card

Wish I had taken the time to fill out a review before now as Dr. Levy has been a remarkable resource for me over the past 14 years. I have worked with many doctors and he is by far the best for many reasons, but above all others, he really cares about his patients. He goes the extra mile for the individual and if he is late sometimes to appointments as some other reviewers have said, that is because he is taking the time necessary to help someone with a critical issue. In my case, he saved my life in 2008, and has subsequently gone on to save it several more times because he genuinely listens and goes above and beyond in his pursuit of the answers. I recommend Dr. Levy and his team often and would not be here if not for them and their inspired care.

At first Dr. Levy was great. Then after a period of time Dr. Levy and his staff started forcing me to see in Nurse Practitioner. I have now said no four time to seeing Dr. Levy's Nurse Practitioner. I found out that the Nurse Practitioner was making medical decisions without talking to Dr. Levy first. I was shown disrespect by his staff and now have started to question if Dr. Levy is making the medical decision are if his Nurse Practitioner is making the medical decisions.

Dr Levy is kind, he explains everything that needs to be done according to each individual case.. many of my family members are Dr Levy patients...and they all say good things about him..he cares about a person, he doesn't just sit there for a minute..no he listens to me and my concerns..I recommend Dr Levy highly for any in need of a good cardiologist.

Dr. Levy is kind and attentive. He explained himself fully and made sure I understood next steps. It was a great experience!

Very inattentive. Every time I see him, it feels like I'm meeting him for the first time. He never prepares for my appointments or reviews my test results in a timely manner. He is usually late for my appointments and rushes though them as quickly as he can. I do not recommend this doctor.

Best doctor ever! Dr. Levy is very caring and takes his time to make sure you are getting the treatment you need. I am extremely lucky to have found him! His nurse, Mariette , is awesome as well.

Dr Levy is very knowledgeable, well care and is the best! I am so happy and feels lucky to be treated by him for a heart issue.

Disappointed. Staff made it difficult to communicate with him. After changing my medication Dr Levy raised my blood pressure from 120/70 to 165/90.

From day one he has requested my previous medical records, has run various heart tests, then started my treatment after having all my medical history. Dr. Levy is always punctual with his appointment schedule, and always makes sure that you understand proposed changes in your treatment. After any tests or treatments, Dr. Levy always makes sure that a follow-up appointment is scheduled, necessary medications are refilled, and my health status is up-to-date. During all my visits to his clinic, Dr. Levy has maintained the highest professional and efficient service and I am so grateful to be his patient. I highly recommend Dr. Gerald Levy’s services to all potential heart patients looking for experienced and caring heart treatment.
