List of Howard M. Rosenblatt's Reviews
I wouldn't recommend Dr. Rosenblatt and we are finally moving on from him. For one, he is often not friendly at all, pompous, and condescending. He absolutely cannot stay on schedule with his appointments. Every single time we wait 45 min - 1 hr in the exam room for him to show up after waiting in the lobby and he is unapologetic on top of that. Then we have to wait another 20 minutes after he leaves to get the paperwork and lab orders from the staff. It shows he doesn't value our time, but I'm sure him and his staff expect patients to be on time. It's very difficult with young children when no food/snacks are allowed (understandably). He orders labs that aren't relevant. Our son has a well-established peanut allergy and only that allergy and he has added on citrus and other foods more than once when we are just doing an annual check to see if he's still allergic to peanuts. We find out after we get the lab bill and have to jump through hoops to get corrected. He's either running a scam or can't keep his patients straight. Test results take forever to get back and you have to call them randomly, multiple times to ask if they're ready as they won't call you. We've had a bad experience every single time we had visited.
Horrible
We’ve been using Dr. Rosenblatt for 2 years now. He is great- but his staff is subpar. It takes a tooth and nail to get anyone to call you back, blood work takes forever to get back…asked for Decembers labs to compare Covid antibodies to June’s labs so we can get my daughter a booster before school starts…well nurse said they don’t have the December labs cause they weren’t scanned in, so now I’m just supposed to guess??
I had an appointment for my son with Dr. Rosenblatt. Everyone on the phone kept either confusing my son with another patient or assumed the patient who had the following appointment was my child's sibling including Dr. Rosenblatt himself. I had to tell too many people I only have one child to feel this is a safe place to receive medical care. Also, I have requested an itemized bill three times now and have not received one but I have received multiple different phone calls asking for me to pay my bill. I have no problem paying the medical bill but I would like to see an itemized list of services first. Who do I need to speak with to actually receive the itemized list I have requested? I would like to make sure I am not being charged for other patients services since there was confusion on who my child was. What is being hidden in the billing department where this is such a difficult request? This place is unorganized and unprofessional. The first time I called I got transferred to multiple different departments and was told I was not allowed to have an itemized list until after I paid the medical bill. This is not true and after having to argue and be transferred to another department someone finally said they could easily have an itemized list sent to me but it would take two to three weeks to come in the mail. I asked for it to me e-mailed for me but was told that was not allowed and would have to wait. So I waited and it never arrived but somehow the actual bill was able to make it to my mailbox. I called to request a second time and was again transferred to multiple different departments. This time I was told they could send an itemized list to my e-mail but I never received that. This last time I was called asking to pay my bill and so I asked for an itemized list of services first and she had no idea what that was and kept saying she did not understand what I was asking for. She just wanted me to pay the bill and denied my right to see what services I was being charged for. Again, I have no problem paying the medical bill I just want to see what services I am being charged for since the office was too unorganized to know my son does not have a sibling simply because we have the same last name as another patient.
My sons care has been delayed not one, not two, not three…now FOUR times because the office of Dr. Rosenblatt will absolutely not return calls or the doctor cannot read the results in the “7 day turnaround” that they give you. I waited 7 weeks, calling every day at the end, getting attitudes from the staff. They even ghosted an email and a call from my sons PEDIATRICIAN. I’m not sure how they even still have a practice with what I’ve experienced and read from other patients. If parents do their due diligence by taking their kids to have a procedure done, they should at least give them the results in a timely fashion through email or otherwise. It’s terrifying enough waiting for results about your child. I can’t believe they get away with this negligence. Why? Because they are the only children’s immunologists in the area? They ought to be ashamed.
My daughter was sent home without any examination because of COVID precautions despite her not presenting any COVID symptoms. She had an allergy and needed an allergy doctor. Staff asked for lab work without any explanation as to why and how it would help my daughter's case. Without any examination, I assume this is a general ask just to send us home. They asked me to bring her back when she's "completely well and symptom free". Well, it seems she'll need another doctor to help her get there.
We saw Dr. Rosenblatt virtually first and then were told to come in person for blood work for our four year old. He told us to not get our son’s four year vaccines until we could determine whether he had the immune system to fight off the vaccines. So, we went to his four year appointment after seeing Dr. Rosenblatt and delayed the vaccines. After calling every week for two months to try and get our results, we called every day. We did not get our results for our son until end of November (almost three months later.) We had to DRIVE down and request our son’s records. We finally heard back the same day we went down to the hospital to get his records. Come to find out our son is immunocompromised and not only did he need his four year vaccines, he needed more. Last week my son had RSV and no way to fight it off. Our pediatrician called Dr. Rosenblatt’s office to try and create a treatment plan. His office told our pediatrician, “Good luck getting him to call you back.” We have tried to call Ascension to speak to someone every single week to no avail. We would love to get more than just a written response to a bad review, especially when it comes to our four year old son’s health.

Sad that we had a very similar experience as others that reviewed. Ours is too long of a story of the dysfunction & unfortunate journey my daughter when through- shared in screenshots. Please read before seeking help for a pediatric allergy concern. Also - the only "good reviews" are on US News which doesn't allow you to actually leave a review - they filter what they want.
Here's part of the review - see the rest on google - ran out of characters. Where do we begin? The sad part is this was 100% avoidable and our daughter was put through multiple traumatic experiences from age 7 Months to 18 Months - due simply to incompetence by Dr. Rosenblatt and his office. We are taking the time to write this review to hopefully protect other families from going through a similar ...

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
