Integral Care Administration Building's Online Review Report Card

Called multiple times trying to see if they accepted a certain type of funding for counseling services. After being disconnected several times and being transferred to people I didn't ask to speak to they finally admitted they don't know if they accept OSAR funding. It's difficult to put myself out there and get help. I also am struggling to keep my mind straight with work and life.... Finally getting a hold of their billing department, they informed me they no longer gave counselors at this location! I use to see Dr. Gorabatti for meds and he never talked to me for more than 15 minutes before prescribing me more medication. They don't care about your mental health; they only care about money and doping their patients. DO NOT HO HERE!!!!!!!!!

These people bought Kensington Apartments on 3300 Manor Road and haven’t fixed my hot water since Christmas 2022. I’m not even part of Integral Care. Code Enforcement was called and it’s been past 30 days so fines start @2000.00 per day, per violation so 2 violations are 4000.00 a day. 28,000 a week. Something needs to be done about the management that also stole my rent money as well. I need to talk to someone that’s above him

This place (and staff) is a corrupt clown show on so many levels. I started in 2012 (they recently changed from MHMR), the therapist they assigned thought it was comical that I had mice running around the kitchen and stove. (He was since moved up to a manager's position). The psychiatrists are horribly misguided. One tried to change my diagnosis from Major Depression Recurrent to something easier to bill at the time. Ugh. Therapists are usually a crapshoot, but these folks were simply unprofessional, untrained and just horrible. I went back a couple of years later, the PA wanted to give me drugs for symptoms that I never claimed. Desperate for help again, I returned and was offered group classes which amounted to some sort of an 8th grade health class. Of the two facilitators, one more distant the other. At one point, my friend worked for IG and would describe some of the ridiculous shenanigans that went on. Fast forward, I'm at Foundation Communities (another Texas shit show), who claim they offer mental health help for residents. Capital Area Counseling is another archaic facade. So, this woman is highly recommended, a genuine LCSW. She flakes out on our first appointment and claims it was me who didn't show. I'm suicidal, she wants to show me diagrams about anger management from what I guess is High School. I still stayed with our sessions despite her reluctance to engage in anything meaningful. My world was small before the pandemic and only shrunk further. This same therapist connected me with someone that was supposed to help me relocate. Supposedly trained in the area of housing (an IC employee), etc. She was like dealing with a teenager. Even after chasing her around (by phone) she knew NOTHING about how to help. 9 years in Austin, it may sound a bit ageist, but this place is amateur central. What are supposed to be trained professionals are on their first job after babysitting or occasionally school. Thanks for reading my rant. I wish I had at least a reliable resource to offer, but, alas. I'm almost 60 and made it this far, so can You.

I went to pes feeling suicidal and wanted help only to be told by laura s. Director of pes and kate from the act team that i cannot receive care or be seen there by the dr and laura and will came out and told me to be quiet

I just need to refill my meds and made an appointment for 8am I called the day before to confirm the appointment. I arrive to be told that they could not get a hold of me to confirm my appointment. I was then told my appointment would be at 9:30 due to the doctor having car trouble. I was under the impression that this facility has multiple physicians on call for walk ins. Now at 10:30 They ask me to come back at 2:30 and it will only be a consultation not an actual appointment to see a psychiatrist. This place is total garbage don't waste your time

They are dropping the ball on my friends care

don't bother wasting your time with this place, they do not want to help anyone. spent I don't even know how much time waiting around just to be told they won't prescribe my anti anxiety medications.

I called and was told this was a sliding scale clinic where I could see a psychiatrist. I told them I had private insurance but that it didn't cover psychiatric care. I got there, filled out their single intake paper, and waited 20 minutes to be told that it would cost me "too much" to be seen here. This woman told me they didn't take private insurance. I asked if she could refer me to someone who worked on a sliding scale in the area. I was told no. I asked if she could refer me to literally anyone and was told no. Despite their intake packet stating that they could refer me out to someone. She told me to call my insurance company. I reiterated that my plan doesn't cover psychiatric care, and she just shrugged. This woman was so callous. I just walked out.

I had to wait for several hours and ended coming back the next morning, but it was worth it. After calling over 30 psychiatrists in the Austin area only to find that none of them could get me in that week I went to EPS. After speaking with two counselors I was able to see a psychiatrist. She was kind, understanding and very professional. The whole process is definitely a hassle but they were able to give me the help I needed when no one else could.
