Appointment began on time, vitals taken, whisked off to X-ray, few minutes passed, doctor came in and explained what he saw on the film, gave me an injection. Pain started reducing within an hour, by bedtime was reduced by 70%. Nobody could argue with those results.

As one who has suffered years of rheumatoid arthritis damage to his hands and wrists, I have way more experience with orthopedics than one could ever want. This doctor did a fantastic job of replacing the knuckles of one hand to give me function again and got me to a great physical therapist for the rehabilitation that was necessary. Because of my age and circumstances, there was a real question whether I should have done the surgery at all and the doctor made a perfect situation for me to have a relaxed conversation in which he was totally focused on my concerns before I made the decision. I cannot imagine going to another doctor for hand issues.

Dr. Somogyi did a hand surgery on me today to remove rose thorns! I felt that his skill level, care and bedside manner were excellent. I would gladly use him again for any hand surgery but seriously hope to never impale myself with rose thorns again!
