Jesslyn Lu's Online Review Report Card

I really can’t discourage people enough from seeing Dr. Lu. She saw my wife’s condition deteriorating right before her eyes and suggested her plight could be tied to anxiety. In reality, my wife has Treatment Induced Diabetic Neuropathy, and it took us months to get a diagnosis. Dr. Lu totally missed this despite having access to every data point regarding my wife’s health, and it’s completely unacceptable. It took multiple trips to the emergency room and a trip to the Mayo Clinic for us to get the proper diagnosis. The fact that the endocrinologist we trusted couldn’t make the right call is infuriating.

INCREDIBLY UNSATISFIED. Dr. Lu did not have my medical records and asked me (the patient) to read her (the DR) my lab results. She did not read or review my blood work/ultrasound results with me. She only asked general questions, the initial call lasted 25 minutes and was quick to determine I would be on medication for the rest of my life. Dr. Lu did not listen to my needs, concerns and dismissed me to her nurse practitioner.When you are dealing with any diagnosis you need a doctor who will listen and treat you as a real person. Dr. Lu advice was everything I had read on the web. If you are dealing with an illness that affects your day-to-day, please go to a DR who listens to you, has your interest in mind and has hope for you. To top it off waste of money & time.

I was forced to switch endocrinologists due to insurance no longer covering. My first ADC doctor was moving, but I had one appointment, and she recommended Dr. Lu. I AM so GLAD THAT SHE DID. Dr. Lu has been amazing. I love that during our appointments, when I bring up issues, she has ideas but encourages me to have input in my treatment. I feel respected, and am so grateful to have a doctor who values autonomy. She is thorough when she looks at dexcom and helps recognize and solve problematic high or low patterns. ALSO - ADC has a 24-hr nurse line which is so helpful. My pharmacy did not receive electronic prescriptions that were sent, so the nurse sent them by fax within minutes.

I had no idea that ideal bp was possible with my condition. Doctors in Denver and Dallas got me to a manageable bp, but Dr. Lu has made what I thought to be impossible possible. Smart and personable with a good sense of humor. She’s good!

I was looking for an endocrinologist that would help me with medical issues with my thyroid. Dr. Lu has been very conscientious, caring and knowledgeable in treating me. I never feel rushed during my visits because she takes the time to answer all my questions. Her office is great about answering messages and getting refills to the pharmacy. I highly recommend Dr. Jesslyn Lu and her office staff.

Me and my wife have diabetes. We have got treated from Dr Lu and our medical condition is now much much better than before. She was kind and gave us detailed information about the symptoms that we had. Thank you Dr. Lu.

Dr. Lu is a wonderful provider. She makes time to ask questions, listen to questions/concerns, is thorough in her examination. As a bonus, she has a great personality!!

Doctor was excellent. I would give her 5 stars.I am giving a 1 star for an overall service by her staff.But after our initial call we were never able to get in touch with her again.Called multiple times and always in the queue waiting for some one to answer.No Idea if there was anything concerning in our blood reports.They even did not send the form required for blood work properly to the lab. we had to wait there and work out the details

Dr. Lu is an excellent doctor. She is not only well qualified and professional, she is also very pleasant with a wonderful personality. I would recommend her to anyone needing a superior endocrinologist.

I had a great experience, no complication and Dr. Lu bed side manner was something she can be respected for.
