Joanne Wise Edoka's Online Review Report Card

She is an awesome pediatrician!

Good afternoon, I am very disappointed in Joanne Edoka, MD. My son had to get rushed to the hospital last night for them to tell me nothing is wrong with him. So today I take him to his primary doctor for them to tell me I had to wait until Monday for him to be seen. I can not stand the system that we have in place. Doctor's only concern is to line their pockets and not care for their patients halfheartedly. She has been caring for my son from day hes was born so she could of taken the time out to see what my concerns are. SMH. The first chance i get I'm to find him a primary doctor who doesn't mind caring for patients instead of saying "I can not get him in". I am disgusted and they make their own hours. So what"s the problem...

The best doctor in the Austin Texas area. I love coming to my children’s appointments. We are seen almost immediately and I know that my children are getting the best care possible. Dr. Edoka is such a sweet lady and always answers all my concerns. I recommend her to anyone that loves to build a relationship with their children’s pediatrician.

This place has went down hill over the years my 4 children have been coming here to Edoka since birth Mrs.Edoka is awesome it’s her staff they are rude doesn’t provide great customer service just there to get a pay check does not genuinely love being Childrens nurses you call in for something simple as a immunization record for daycare enrollment purposes and you get the run around put on hold explained what i needed was told it’ll get email to me never got it now they can’t email it all of a sudden poor communication within the front end if you want a good doctor Edokas great but you’ll have to put up with her staff.

Review update: my son is now 5.5 and still seeing Dr. Edoka! Our opinion has not changed and it’s a wonderful comfort to knows he’s been able to see the same doctor and staff for years. Dr. Edoka and her staff have always been very friendly, welcoming and helpful. I am happy we chose her to be my son's pediatrician. He is going to be two soon and has been seeing Dr. Edoka since he was a week old. She is very honest when she notices something that may seem off (simple things like get rid of the bottle, feeding schedules). I like this because I was a new mom with no clue how early the child was physically able to change and develop. There is also a great online system if I have questions that don't need immediate attention that helps in the middle of the night and weekends. Thank you Dr. Edoka and all of your team for helping my son stay healthy.

I was only one years old when I had got pneumonia. My mom switch me to Dr. Edoka and the rest was history. Now she is my kids pediatrician.

Dr. Edoka is the most kind loving peds doctor I've had. She listens and makes sure all questions are answered. She has been all 3 of my kids doctor for 18 yrs since she was off N. Lamar and 32nd st I think that was the street. I'd follow her and her staff anywhere. Her staff has been with her too a very long time. All lovely ladies there. Now my 1st son will have his 1st son in Jan and he will be taking him there too....

Always a great experience. She has seen my family for three generations now. Thanks

She has been the pediatrician for all 4 of my boys. My oldest is 25 and my is 7. All from birth. She's the best

I have seen her since I was born, meaning she was my pediatrician. She took care of me so well and I loved going to the doctor because she wasnt rude like most doctors and always listened to how I felt. Now that I have kids I take my kids too see her and they are in love with her and enjoy going to the doctor themselves. She is our family pediatrician, and I would recommend her to a million people. If you want too make your kids comfortable with doctors, take them to her.
