Dr. McDonald and Kate (PA) are world class. It took me three Ortho’s to get to the root cause of my problem. They show genuine care in their patients, I didn’t feel rushed, was able to ask questions. Couldn’t recommend them more.

My spouse and I have been patients for over ten years. We have been well taken care of. Dr McDonald is approachable and a great communicator, two things I value highly. From accidents to sports injuries he’s been our go to orthopedic physician. Highly recommend

Dr. McDonald was highly recommended by a physical therapist that travels all over Austin to see patients. So I read up on him with Google and saw he worked under the best Hip Surgeons in the country. Which I happened to read about before hearing about Dr. McDonald. I met with him for a consultation of my MRI. He explained everything going on in my MRI with a slight tear and other things on the MRI is normal for even a young athlete. That my pain is definitely coming from my back issues. Dr. McDonald is everything I read about. He is very thorough and explains in a language I can understand! I recommend him highly for any hip issues you may have.

Dr. McDonald took the time to explain exactly what was causing my daughters pain, including drawing a picture for her to visualize the abnormality. He answered all of our questions and recommended the least invasive method of treatment. We highly recommend him!

Very pleasant experience w Dr. McDonald as he came highly recommended for my hip issue. Went in thinking I would need simple clean-up surgery to repair a labral tear. Appointment was short and sweet. After reviewing the X-ray of my hip, I feel he gave an honest recommendation on course of treatment going forward. Which was completely unexpected. Referred me to another surgeon in his practice. I appreciated his straight-forwardness and compassion with which he delivered difficult news.

I dislike going to see a Dr. But if I had to see one it would be Dr. McDonald. He and his staff are friendly, very knowledgeable and patient. They will take as much time as needed to answer ur questions and explain things so you understand. Great service.
