Jose Carlos Cortez Md's Online Review Report Card

At first we really liked the doctor. But post surgery was not what we expect. Lot of details not to point here…but I do expect a better service…Also his office staff are not friendly …the lady at the front desk needs to take some customer service courses to learn how to talk with customers with kids.

Dr Cortez and team we very professional and took good care of my son during his procedure. Definitely the best pediatric urologist in Austin.

WORST DOCTER EVER!!! I rather die then see him again!!! Starting trying to hit on my mom as soon as we got in and messed up my surgery twice, 3 mouths now constant Pain and suffering still can’t leave the house or do anything, ruin everything I had going for me my job friends and girl I wish I would never have gone to him wanna the worst decisions I’ve ever made

I was very happy with the surgery process. Dr. Jose Cortez is wonderful and I trusted him with my child. He kept me updated and made the experience a great one. I recommend Dr. Cortez and rate him 10 out of 10!!!

Dr Cortez was recommend by my pediatrician who said that if he had a child he would without any doubt trust Dr Cortez. Dr Cortez is not only very skilled surgeon he paid attention to parents and assured that every single detail is understood he makes extremely good explicative drawings , respond to any questions. You are truly taken by your hand and walked through the whole process. He is extremely reassuring and you feel absolutely confident leaving your child in his hands. I am coming from doctors family in Europe and certainly have more questions than anyone else. I felt absolutely safe and confident with Dr Cortez professional experience. My son after post operation checkup visit told me he is going to miss Dr.Cortez . It was a girts time my son said he is going to miss a doctor.

Dr. Cortez is incredible. Not only is he a leader in the field, but he cares about his patients as if they were his family. He spends so much time during every visit to explain complicated matters in a way that makes sense. He makes sure to answer all of your questions - no matter how many you have. And if you are like me- we typically have a lot. I can’t thank him enough for caring for our son during an incredibly difficult time. Our son had surgery at three months and I couldn’t imagine going through that time without Dr. Cortez. Thank you Dr. Cortez for all you have done for our family! We are forever grateful!

Had an appointment with Dr. Cortez. We were not allowed to be seen. The front desk and office staff are absolutely impossible and have a complete lack of compassion for clients. Due to their unreasonableness they may have cost the clinic thousands of dollars not only for my canceled appointment, but subsequent appointments and possible surgery. Add to that by turning us away they might have had another patient in our slot in need of more critical care.

Super indico É um Médico muito atencioso, explicativo, pega ele no colo, brinca com ele, além de dar toda atenção e suporte para mim me respondendo todas as perguntas, até mesmo as que eu poderia perguntar ele aponta cuidadosamente, fez um desenho no papel para que eu pudesse entender melhor! Eu amei me consultar com ele! Eu não falo muito bem inglês, ele é fluente em espanhol e tivemos uma ótima comunicação por isto. Apenas uma mulher que acredito ser enfermeira que me atendeu antes dele pegando as informações da farmácia, peso e tamanho, não foi muito gentil, falando inglês sem importar se eu estava entendendo ou não. Achei ela um pouco impaciente comigo. Tirando isto foi incrível !
