K. Michael Webb's Online Review Report Card

It has been over a year from my surgery now and you gave me my life back. I’m riding my bike over sixteen miles three times a week when the weather is good. I am Mowing the lawn without f##king pain. A 100% recovery to me and I want to thank your staff for making my life and my family blessed again. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. You deserve the praise!

Dr. Webb and his staff, including Dana Hawthorne PA, are amazing ! 10/10 recommend them if you are suffering with pain that isn’t resolved with other treatments. Dr. Webb and surgical staff did amazing during my procedure (laminectomy and fusion) and I don’t think it could have gone any better. The staff have been amazing in both my pre and post operative appointments, and take their time with explanations and expectations. Dr. Webb is very personable, knowledgeable, understanding, confident and skilled! Thank you Dr. Webb and staff!

Incompetent is the only word I can use to describe his staff. They are the worst I have ever encountered across 19 surgeries. I cannot speak to Dr. Webb's capability is a surgeon as he is not yet operated on me due to the incompetence of his staff at submitting my insurance authorization in time, twice! They failed to get my MRI approved, resulting in delays of over 3 months. They fill to get my surgery approved, resulting in indefinite delays and extending my pain and suffering. They have shown no compassion or willingness to correct their mistakes. They have shown their willingness to lie about their actions and have told me information that is entirely contradictory to what my insurance company has stated that they did. I am furious! The office manager will not call me back, and they have not yet provided the basis for denial from my insurance company. I am about ready to fire Dr. Webb as my surgeon, as I am not confident that he can operate on me properly or that his staff will follow up with me efficiently. I would recommend anyone else but Dr. Webb solely due to the incompetence of his staff! ***UPDATE*** So, I managed to get my C5-C6 cervical artificial disk replacement appeal approved by my insurance and I had the procedure in Dec 2022 (technically it was already approved by insurance when Dr. Webb's staff called me to cancel/delay my surgery the day before...they just didn't know it was already approved - another example of incompetence. My hard detective work was the only reason I had the surgery in Dec...or it would have been further delayed significantly). Great news is the surgery worked better than I could have hoped and my pain has been lessened greatly! Procedure and recovery went very well! Dr. Webb does seem to be a skilled surgeon but my review here is primarily about his front office...which unintentionally delayed my procedure (quantifiably) by at least 4 months between the MRI and surgery insurance approvals resulting in more pain and suffering on my part. Glad it is done. I may go back in to him in the future but I have concerns if I do so.

This is only the first of many steps I am going to take. Dr Webb You ruined my life, my body and you lied to me.and now you have breached your ethical oath . You are letting me lay here suffering left to die at your hands. I will prove this, count on it. More will be revealed day by day if you don't keep your word today by 5pm.

Dr. K. Michael Webb is my HERO!!! I cannot say enough positive comments about him. He is an extremely skilled surgeon. He performed an ACDF between my C5 and C6 vertebrae. I was quite concerned prior to the surgery about how long it would take to recover, pain involved, etc. That was a waste of my time because the surgery went perfectly! Within two days I was doing all of my normal routines (with doctor restrictions) and felt great. The fine motor skills in my left hand improved to 100% almost immediately, just like he said it would. It's been slightly over six weeks since the surgery and I have no movement limitations of my neck. I can turn my head to either side easily. I liked Dr. Webb the moment I met him. He is an excellent communicator and his positive demeanor makes it very easy to ask questions and understand everything before making important decisions. He treats me with respect and consideration. He only does surgery if it's the last option and it's what the patient wants. He is very thorough. After years of suffering sometimes debilitating pain caused by injury from automobile accidents, I am pain free!!! Thank you so much, Dr. Webb! I also would like to add the the staff that works in his office, and the ones in the hospital surgery unit are ALL EXCEPTIONAL, each and every one of them. They are always so polite and very thorough. The surgical team kept me very comfortable and pain free as possible. And, their excellent post op instructions helped me heal quickly and give me good results. I went home the next day quite pleased with the way everything went. Thank you all so much!

Had a laminectomy & fusion. Dr. Webb made me feel confident with his surgical approach and surgical outcome.He takes his time discussing or answering questions. The outcome was great. No post operative pain. 8weeks of healing. No PT required. Will be back in full swing on the course in a few weeks. Too hot to play right now anyway. Grateful 😇

Dr. Webb gave me my life back!! He had to do an extensive surgery on me that lasted about 6 hrs. I had just had surgery a year ago by another surgeon & unfortunately he did not correct what I had wrong & on top of that I Dr. Webb had to do an additional procedure on me. I highly recommend Dr.Webb!

Dr. Webb did surgery on my neck and I got instant relief in my neck and back. He is very skilled, compassionate, thoroughly explained the reason for the surgery and the process and I would highly recommend him. Frank R
