Dr. Antunes and his staff are lovely to work with. They set realistic expectations for my outcome and prepared me well for my rhinoplasty procedure and recovery. I felt supported throughout the entire experience and never had any issues getting in touch or having my questions answered. My result looks very natural (which was as important to my surgeon as it was to me) and feels functional just 7 weeks following surgery. Would absolutely recommend this practice.

I had the pleasure of meeting Dr. Antunes, and his amazing staff last week. Each staff member I met was courteous, professional, and very welcoming. I found Dr. Antunes to be very knowledgeable, kind, caring and approachable. I also didn’t feel rushed when asking him questions…felt very comfortable! I was very impressed by the care and attention I received, and would highly recommend him!

Never in a million years would I have guessed that my rhinoplasty would be so life-changing! I owe it all to Dr. Marcelo Antunes aka Michael Angelo, a true artist and master of surgical skill. Upon meeting Dr. Antunes he exudes warmth, caring, and positive energy. He makes you feel completely at ease. He also has the natural gift and talent of translating a vision that will harmonize with your existing features and does not compromise your ability to breathe. Dr. Antunes is honest and realistic with you regarding what to expect. He knows what needs to be done and what should be left alone. I had zero concerns and immediately knew that we were on the same page. I had just moved to New Orleans but traveled back to Austin and stayed for a week in a hotel after my surgery. After my consult with him I would not consider or even imagine anyone else performing it other than him. The entire process was seamless. His staff is so sweet and amazing. Dr. Antunes makes himself available to you the entire time for any and all questions and concerns After my surgery, Dr. Antunes promptly responded when I had any questions. I never once felt unsupported throughout my post-op phase leading up to my f/u appt and cast removal. I had zero complications. Pain wise I only had mild burning/soreness and some moderate discomfort due to my nose being stuffed up. Gradually day by day this starts to subside. I wish that I could articulate my experience with Dr. Antunes in a way to do it justice. I am 43 years old and my only regret is that I hadn't done this sooner. I never in my wildest dreams imagined it would have such a massive impact on improving my confidence and self-esteem. When I look in the mirror now I am so happy and in love with my new nose! The positivity inside me reflects onto every aspect of my life. He refined my nose into one that I feel that I could've been born with. I highly recommend anyone considering facial plastic surgery to meet with Dr. Antunes and allow him to gain your trust. He is a highly experienced and skilled surgeon that has integrity, genuinely cares, and will ensure that your best interest is always at heart.

WORST EXPERIENCE EVER!!! I had a rhinoplasty over a year ago my nose is not only worse I now have breathing issues. Things were done to my nose that I did not ask for. I taught I was in the best hands because of all these good reviews. So I don’t understand why I ended up having such a horrible experience. This has affected my entire life I would think twice before getting a rhinoplasty. Even in the best hands things can go wrong. DO NOT RISK IT!!!

EXCELLENT!!! My youngest daughter ( almost 18) had a rhinoplasty a month ago performed by Dr. Antunes. Her new nose has a very natural look. The recovery process went very smoothly with very minimal pain during the first 3 days. On the 4th day after surgery she . I was extremely nervous about this procedure because my oldest daughter had a very bad outcome with her rhinoplasty of 3 years ago performed by another plastic surgeon in Bee caves. Her septum collapsed after a yr that left her with major breathing issues and the tip of her nose not aligned. We were fortunate that this time around we found Dr. Antunes. Dr. Antunes is a highly skilled surgeon and trained at one of the most prestigious medical schools in the world. I did tons of research before choosing him . There are MANY things that set Dr. Antunes apart from the rest of the plastic surgeons in the Austin area . His bedside manner and attention to detail are impecable and his passion for rhinoplasties is very palpable . My daughter is ecstatic with her new looks and she immediately regained her self esteem. That is priceless! There is no doubt that Dr. Antunes has become THE BEST plastic surgeon in the Austin area. It might be a little bit early to post this review but I’ll update this review 3&6 months post-op once we can see the final results.

If you are considering facial cosmetic surgery of any kind, look no further! I am two months out from a facelift with Dr. Marcelo Antunes and could not be happier with the results. A beauty industry professional gave me Dr. Antunes name along with four others during a consultation. Although I had other interviews, Dr. Antunes set the bar for the others to reach. There is absolutely no pretense with Dr. Antunes. He is an extremely qualified surgeon who happens to be the kindest, most personable, most caring physician I have ever met. My number one goal was a very natural facelift, in which I continued to look like myself and that is exactly what Dr. Antunes gave me. I love the results! Dr. Antunes does not stop with the facelift. He and his team have been in constant contact with me and are available for even the simplest questions. Oh, did I tell you that he is a perfectionist? He does not release you until you and he are completely satisfied with your results. I do not recommend someone lightly. My appearance has always been important to me, so I have been exposed to doctors in the beauty industry and their care for years. Dr. Antunes and his staff at Face Austin are the real deal.

I never leave reviews for anything, but I absolutely needed to share my experience with Dr. Antunes. I have just undergone a primary septo/rhinoplasty with Dr. Antunes. I am now 7 days post- op. Throughout the entire experience (from the initial consultation, all the way to the cast removal) I have never felt so comfortable. Upon consulting with Dr. Antunes, there was not a single doubt in my mind that I could trust him whole-heartedly with the procedure. He took the time and was very patient when he discussed the realistic results I could achieve based on my anatomy. His calm, sweet, and friendly nature made him very easy to communicate with and provided the optimal environment to express my thoughts and opinions. The entire team at Face Austin was there for me every step of the way, and I truly never felt that one question was ever “too small.” Seriously- the people on this entire team are the sweetest people! When I was nervous on the day of the surgery, I felt completely comforted by everyone around. My surgery was on a Friday, but Dr. Antunes went out of his way to follow up with me throughout the weekend and week prior to the cast removal and answered every single one of my questions. Madison (the nurse) also continued to check in on me and took excellent care of me! Now… for the results… I was too stunned for words. And that is an UNDERSTATEMENT. I could not believe my nose could look so beautiful just a week after the surgery. My breathing was impeccable! I’m so thankful I met Dr. Antunes and his team at Face Austin to make this a well-supported and comfortable experience with immaculate results. I am forever grateful for my experience!

I can’t say enough great things about Dr. Antunes and my rhinoplasty results! He is a fantastic surgeon and from my first visit with him and his team, I knew he was the right choice. He listens, he was attentive to what I wanted in my results, and he was able to do exactly what we spoke about during my consultation. I ended up with some minor scar tissue, and over the next few months he continued to treat me with the same attentiveness and care, making sure I was 100% happy with my nose. I wish I had done this surgery even sooner! I can finally breathe, my confidence is so much better, and I have received so many compliments on my new nose.
