Doctor was one and one=half hours late for appointment. Never apologized for the delay or explained it. Acted as though he was not interested in the patient or the issue. Total lack of empathy.

Dr. Parrella repaired my broken hip.I could not want for a better Surgeon .I can’t express my gratitude enough . I plan on getting back to walking as I did before my accident and Im well on my way, thanks to his expert skills .

I was introduced by ER doctor to Dr. Mark Parrella to treat my calcaneus fracture . I fell from the ladder and shattered my heel bone . Dr. Parrella is an excellent orthopedic trauma surgeon , he went over with me the difference between surgery and non surgery option. I selected to have the surgery . From all my eyes and ears , Dr. Darrell's is very skillful and full of expertise knowledge and experience to operate on my foot. A good surgeon does make a big difference with the outcome.Besides he has his very best support staff, Daniele , Dr. Parrella assistant is my lifeline .She is so patient to listen to my condition update every time and answers all my questions. Tori, his nurse is marvelous to examine my foot each follow up and explains well to me on the healing process.When you look for an orthopedic doctor, a skillful surgeon and excellent support staff are two main ingredients for your treatment and healing . I love this office! Dr. Parrella is an outstanding Orthopedic Surgeon, and has taken excellent care of me and my leg! His staff is friendly, and helpful, and Daniele is my lifeline! She gets back to me with all of my questions and requests, and never makes me feel like she is being burdened to help me! I highly recommend Dr. Parrella and his staff, and the care they give! He is highly experienced in ortho trauma surgery , and I am thankful he was mine! Best office and staff, hands down!!

Hia staff are so RUDE they act like they do not want to be there.

As a result from a fall, I broke both my left elbow and left shoulder. Dr Parrella performed my surgery and inserted plates and screws in both areas. He gave me my left arm back! Recovery was slow but I am able to move my arm in ways I thought I’d never be able to. Dr. Parrella is my hero!! and I am so appreciative of the wonderful results!! I will be forever grateful for his professionalism, care, and expertise.

Dr. Parrella did an ORIF on my left knee tibial plateau fracture. He said it would take 3 months to heal. Although it was a long and agonizing wait, I did what I was advised to do. After 3 months he ordered to physical therapy. 5 weeks later, I am walking again! Thank you Doc for all of your help! I will always remember u for the rest of my life.

***AVOID***Doctor left my friend suffering for a week of pain because the doctor said he was, quote "too busy" to submit the proper paper work to insurance. 7 days of human suffering because of this doctor.

I was referred to Dr. Parrella by the ER due to a severe trip and fall accident. I had several compound fractures (bones sticking out through the skin) in my leg and had to have surgery. The surgery was a success, I had no complications and my bones grew back together on schedule. It was a very long recovery, but now I'm hitting the gym and training for a 5K. If I had to describe Dr. Parrella in one word, it would be "calm". Nothing seems to rattle him. You can tell he really enjoys what he does. He's very kind and soft-spoken, yet very direct about your injury. "Okay. So your leg is broken here, here and here (pointing at the x-ray and then physically on your leg) and you will need surgery and it will be done tomorrow morning. Any questions?" He looks you right in the eye and tells it like it is, which is what I loved about him. That, and the fact that he doesn't seem like a surgeon at all. He's just a regular guy. He's considerate and courteous and he runs a tight ship. I always felt very confident while under his care. Having a broken leg is an extremely scary, frustrating, painful and hopeless experience. I was blessed to have Dr. Parrella as my surgeon. He was always a ray of light and encouragement when I had given up hope of ever walking again.
