Mary Bartz's Online Review Report Card

Mary Bartz was my pcp for about a year, and treated me for routine check ups as well as care for a second degree burn. There were two issues I had that she did not diagnose correctly: one was an infected cut on my foot that began to turn into cellulitis. Dr. Bartz unfortunately worsened this issue by prescribing a steroid cream for the pain. My foot swelled up so much that I struggled to walk, but she still refused to believe there was an infection as there was no pus. Ultimately, I consulted a friend who is a doctor and another md through the app Doctor on Demand, and the latter prescribed a topical antibiotic. The swelling subsided soon after, but cellulitis is very dangerous and I'm lucky I caught it in time. The other misdiagnosed issue was a callous that she diagnosed as a wart. I ended up using some otc treatments that are very bad to use if you don't actually have a wart. Again, I ultimately sought a second opinion and was told it was a callous. I've since had it removed by a podiatrist with no issue. I recommend Dr. Bartz for in person consultation, perhaps, but do not trust her to judge well from photos and do seek a second opinion if hers seems off.

Dr. Bartz combines no nonsense medical treatment and advice with a warm and non judgemental approach. So glad I found her.

I have been seen by Dr. Bartz since 2005. I 've been very happy with my visit's and now here lately, my Saturday morning Visit's. I recommend to anyone and everyone. Thank You M. Bartz for all you do.

I truly believe Dr Bartz saved my life: In 2011, I had an unusual mammogram and I had only been her patient for about 6 weeks. I didn't know where to turn and she calmly lead me through the process of finding surgeons, oncologists and more. She was and is a God-send for me. I have also used her partner's services when I have had two emergencies and both times I was more than satisfied with the help I received. RR Family Practice continues to be the best Dr experience of my life.

The best Doctor I have ever found. Straight up with you, will not sugarcoat, will tell what you need to do, also the best personality and funniest Doctor I know. Great Doctor and person.

I have been seeing Dr. Bartz for well over a decade and I cant stress enough on how great she is as a doctor. She is a "no nonsense" / keep it real" kind of person. She has always been pro-active and likes to think outside the box. She tries to look at ALL potential issues that could result in whatever problem I have (when i come in to see her). She also isnt a pill pusher and I REALLY LIKE that about her. Also, her Nurse Asst. MEG is very very nice and very attentive as well. I look forward to being with her for many years to come. I feel very at EASE when I go to see Dr. Bartz and Meg.

Dr. Bartz has always treated me w/care and has giving me all the attention I needed...I did not like her nurse Meg...I do love Angel. Dr. Bartz is an excellent doctor.

Dr Bartz has been my dr since i was a teenager. She treats my entire family as well as my husband and several of our friends. She is awesome! Her nurse, Meg is wonderful too. I won't go anywhere else.

I've been really surprised by all of the negative office staff reviews on here. I've been seeing Dr. Bartz for a few years now, and have had great experiences all around. Her staff is courteous on the phone when setting appointments and I've never had to wait more than a couple minutes to be called back from the waiting room or once I'm in the exam room (some of my biggest pet peeves). Her assistant is very prompt, thorough and helpful, both in person and over the phone, even when I've called with random questions. Finally, on to Dr. Bartz... Her pre-exam questions and actual examinations are very thorough. Her diagnoses seem reasonable to me and I don't feel like she's trying to medicate me just to get a prescription out the door. She doesn't exude warm fuzzys or anything, but I'm here to see the doctor, not make friends. I actually like her frankness - I feel like she's always being honest with me, in a very professional manner. All in all, if you're looking for a painless experience, I would recommend Dr. Bartz. If you're looking to find a new BFF, look elsewhere!
