This is an extremely busy and chaotic practice! Very crowded waiting area and front desk had masks hanging under they nose. Dr. Belt is a really good doctor but her staff is unreliable and trying to work with this office is incredibly frustrating.....I have to call and email multiple times to get refills, long hold times, I had to call the office to get lab results that they just never bothered to enter into MYchart or call or email me.The final straw for me was the office cancelling my annual that I made months in advance and they gave me no option to reschedule with Dr. Belt as she was booked out. I'm so over the doctor bouncing and the only option being is to see a nurse. This is an extremely busy and chaotic practice! Very crowded waiting area and front desk had masks hanging under they nose. Had appt in early May to address a medical issue. I sent recent imaging reports to the doctor around that time; even re-sent it a second time. To date, I haven’t been given any direction or follow up to figure out how to address my condition.
One of the worst experience I have had with a provider. I literally have stopped going to ARC because of her and told my friends to do the same.I came too see Dr. Belt as I had just received a shocking diagnosis. Dr. Belt was impatient with me when I asked questions regarding mydiagnosis and absent minded during our consultation. When I asked her questions she’d interrupt me mid sentence to share her thoughts without hearing me through. The icing on the cake was when I communicated my frustrations and concerns she handed me a genericpamphlet, told to call the nurse line if I had any questions and left abruptly.I sat in that room for 10 min balling my eyes out as another provider ignored my concerns as a patient. If you are looking for a routine provider to get you in and out, cool. If you are looking for someone who actively listens, communicate to you like a human being and not a patient ID number, Dr. Belt is NOT the physician for you.One of the worst experience I have had with a provider. Great care
Dr. Belt is incredibly thorough and ran all the necessary tests to determine that I was not in preterm labor. She also has excellent bedside manner!!! Would recommend her in a heartbeat!!
Consulted Dr. belt with my Mom, who is older. We found her to be open, thorough, perceptive kind, with gentle humor and great respect for her patients. As a result, I’m switching OBs. Loved the experience with staff, very prompt, flexible and conscientious team.
Personally I don't like doing these sorts of things because I rather just speak with the doctor and handle that personally. But we've done that and honestly that didn't resolve much. I was going to have a cervical biopsy done by Melanie Belt so of course I checked her reviews and such. The one from five years ago, that was negative, should be heard. She has no bedside manner and is incredibly condescending that it made me uncomfortable with the idea of having her perform this procedure. Even if it meant waiting another month(after my results it took another month to get in to get this done) I would rather not have her touch me. Ladies you know your body better than anyone. You should never have to advocate for yourself, especially with a doctor who should care for you. I would not recommend her to any of my friends or family. Please find someone else. UT Health Austin has been super helpful for me in this time and are willing to have you on a sliding payscale compared to ARC.Personally I don't like doing these sorts of things because I rather just speak with the doctor and handle that personally. She help me deliver my first baby she was really nice and understanding, she made me believe I could do it and I did . Thank you doctor belt ( I did it all natural birth) .
I visited Dr.Melanie Belt with a problem of an ovarian cyst that needed to be removed as soon as possible, as it caused me menstrual pain and was large enough for surgery. On the beginning she seemed like a nice, caring, professional and qualified person who can help me to solve my problem. Dr.Melanie Belt insured me that she will do everything possible for the surgery to be done soon (even if she clarified that she will not be the one who is going to perform it). I was totally fine with this fact, as I needed urgent care. The problem started within 2 weeks: nobody hurried up to schedule my surgery and never called me back about my next treatment steps. That situation made me to visit ARC personally to make sure what was going on. The answer of one ARC representative was very simple: " THE DOCTOR DID NOT ADD YOU TO THE LIST FOR SURGERY". That answer changed my attitude to Dr.Melanie Belt: "How a qualified doctor who cares about her REPUTATION and PATIENTS can be so careless to her promises?" It is really sadly to realize that the doctor does not take responsibility for her actions, life of her patients and their future kids.
Dr. Belt has been my Doctor for a long time, She has always shown professionalism, and she really cares about his patients. Thank you Dr. Belt you are the best!!!

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
