List of MIchael D. Josephs Md's Reviews
We went to see Dr. Josephs because my 15 yo son's foot had a lump with pain and numbness. I felt Dr. Josephs was condescending and rude during the visit. He said, "So your foot is numb? That means you can't feel it at all, that means I can hit it with a hammer and you won't feel it at all, so is it numb or not". There are varying degrees of numbness. He also said that the lump was not near any blood vessels. I asked, "Isn't it right above his dorsalis pedis artery?" He said, "A shoe laces pressure can't compress an artery, it takes xxx amount of pressure with a tourniquet and you still can't compress an artery." I literally hold pressure on peoples arteries for a living and I know you can reduce the blood flow in an artery without the pressure he was talking about. He continued to talk to us about this never giving an actual recommendation. He said he could remove the lump but would guarantee no relief of symptoms. This Dr. may be a good surgeon, but I will never find out.
It's just a month after my child's surgery but we liked Dr Josephs manner. He is compassionate but straightforward and open for questions.
Very caring, good bedside manner, has done a handful of surgeries on my daughter and I feel comfortable with her under his care.
Well explained surgical procedure. I would recommend Dr. Josephs to anyone!

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
