The entire staff was efficient and pleasant. Thomas (PA) took time to explain everything, saw I was still a bit nervous and had Dr. Moghimi come in who explained everything again to me. I was very grateful for everyone’s care and attention to my issue.

Dr. Moghimi destroyed my body. I asked him pointed questions prior to the surgery, only to find out too late that he was deceptive. The injections that serve as a precursor to having the surgery didn't work, indicating that the surgery would not be successful, but he insisted it was going to be the only thing that would work for me. I underwent a procedure under false pretenses, and I will be forever paying the price. When I followed up with him due to the extreme pain following the surgery, he said, "the surgery looks good, so I don't know what's wrong. I can send notes to your next doctor," and shuffled me out of the room. His behavior was appalling, and his surgery was forever damaging. I implore anyone thinking about utilizing his services to go literally anywhere else.

Everyone was pleasant and efficient. Check in was digital and easy to use. PA and Dr Moghimi listened and discussed options clearly.

I was not pleased. I sat there for an hour and then his PA came and talk for a couple of minutes, and mentioned that Dr Moghimi wouldn't be able to help me unless it was major surgery. then left. Dr Moghimi came in about 10 min later. didn't say much but that he looks at my MRI and i would require major surgery based on what his PA said. what happened to Dr and patient talk about my issue. this is not good. And I paid for the visit.

Dr. Moghimi was awesome from initial diagnosis of my back problem, detailed explanation of surgical procedures, recovery, and expected outcomes to the actual surgery and subsequent follow-up. His support staff and the facilities used were also great. Everyone was caring, efficient and a pleasure to deal with and my back feels so much better! Dr. Moghimi is an excellent spinal surgeon and I highly recommend him. Definitely worth the hour drive from my home to see him for appointments!

Dr. Michael Moghimi, orthopedic surgeon with Orthopaedic Specialists of Austin, replaced the disc between my L2 and L3 vertebrae with a cylindrical cage that contained bone graft material. Before surgery, the femoral nerve in my right thigh was very painful when I would stand and especially when I would walk. After surgery, the femoral nerve pain was totally gone! Thank you, Dr. Moghimi!
