Great practice. I was always treated with respect and care whenever I went in for a visit or made a request by phone. I’m going to miss Dr. Johnson and the entire team.
I’ve been a patient of Dr. Johnson for almost 7 years. The staff are kind, and helpful. Dr.Johnson and the nurse practitioner have both been great.
Hello Dr. Johnson this Paul Macy a former patient from about 35 years ago. Hope you and family are doing well.
I have been going to see Dr. Johnson for quite sometime now and I have never had an issue with him or his staff. He is kind, respectful, extremely knowledgeable, and wants what is best for his patients. His wife, Carol, works in the office as well and she is absolutely lovely. I love getting to chat with Carol and check in and check out. I have moved farther and farther away over the past several years from Dr. Johnson's office, but I will still make the drive when needed to keep using Dr. Johnson. I know I am I'm good hands, and that my health and happiness is top priority when I come to him with a medical concern.
Dr. Johnson has become our favorite family provider. He see's us all! Appointments are easily available. The staff have been so kind and enjoyable during each visit. Lisa is great too! Honestly I haven't felt this at home with a practice since I lived in my small hometown. Dr. Johnson and team have all my trust.
Very disappointed, We just moved to Austin and my husband needs a new doctor to refill his medication, we call Dr Johnson’s office and ask how much will it cost with our insurance, and the front desk lady said “ it won’t be much with insurance “, and we always paid about $50 with our former doctor so we expect that is what we need to pay . The first visit we paid $85, and we thought that’s how much we need to pay, but when we made a second appointment, we were told we still owe them “$ 165” !!! Just feel being lied to , if they told us it will cost this much, we won’t go there because we can’t afford it, now we have to find a new doctor in short period of time , which is really inconvenient.
The office manager, Carol made this the most horrific, terrible PCP experience I have ever had. She was relentlessly rude, demeaning, and demanding. My husband and I walked out before ever seeing Dr. Johnson, unfortunately. I cannot speak to him as a physician, but his office manager is turning away business.
Nope. I just recently came into some good health insurance so I thought I would try a "good doctor". I called Dr. Neal Johnson's office on a Wednesday midday and i was directed right to voicemail, and let me tell you the prompts go on and on and on. Imagine calling all the email companies youre trying to unsubscribe to, this would be the equivalent. I was simply calling to ask if they were excepting new patients and had to wait on the phone for about 3 minutes to even be able to leave a message to the "receptionist". Also its been 2 days now and they have not responded, not even to say we are not excepting new patients, just nothing....I dont want a doctors office that doesn't have real people just to answer a simple call.
Don't deal with him. Resolves any misunderstanding by getting rid of you. Some of his staff is behaves unprofessionally, he doesn't care.
My visit was not that bad, I usually hate going to any doctors appointment but this one wasn’t that bad. It was quick and easy. The nurse that helped me out was patient and nice to me, and Dr. Johnson was helpful at answering my question's. I would definitely go here to check up on your health. The only problem i had was that they wrote my name wrong on the excuse paper, but no worries, Starbucks does too. Thanks

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
