I am just getting started but so far I am extremely impressed. I had to leave a review because I saw someone had a bad experience with his scheduler Veronica and left a nasty review. She has been nothing but professional, pleasant and efficient during my interactions so far. I will update my review when completed.

Dr. Onan is a skilled and compassionate spinal surgeon with impeccable training. I am so glad I found him. I’m a year out from my surgery and couldn’t be happier with the whole experience.

Dr. Onan literally gave me my life back. I love that one of the first things he said to me was that he’s extremely conservative when it comes to surgery and it should absolutely be the last possible option. Dr. Onan possesses a combination of being a straight-shooter and an empathetic, kind person. I can’t say enough good things about him. I will say that the ONLY negative experience was with Veronica, the scheduling person on his team. I’ve had two surgeries and each time she was rude and unprofessional. I nearly found a different surgeon for the second surgery because of my interactions with her. Everyone else on his team, and at the practice, have been stellar. I can’t thank Dr. Onan enough for giving me my life back.

Dr. Onan and his staff have a clear focus on addressing and providing his patients with an understanding of the issue, treatment and follow-up. The professionalism, knowledge, experience and empathy to the issues is a quality you don't find very often in a surgeons. This infectious attitude clearly permeates throughout his staff.
