Patricia Gunter is great. She's a good listener. She takes her time on the Well Woman visits and offers good, sound suggestions. She deserves five stars--no question. ADC not so much. You have to go through the main switchboard. It's hard to get through the doctor's office. It feels disorganized and inordinately complicated. Medicine in the 21st century?

Dr. Gunter is very knowledgeable about menopausal issues, however her bedside manner isn't great. When I went in to see her I was young for starting menopause, and felt that she talked to me in almost a condescending manner.

This was my first visit with Dr Gunter after my doctor had retired. She was very knowledgeable and listened carefully to my concerns, offering sound advice. I definitely recommend her as a practitioner!

I arrived early and was called into my room early. The doctor actually came in 30 minutes before my appointment was to start. She went over my entire medical history and every medication that I took. She also wanted to know why I was taking everything that I was. She gave me very realistic, honest advise about menopause and her advise as to what I could do to improve the quality of my life. She was very attentive and listened to everything that I had to say and prescribed me the best option for hormones based on a previous blood clot I had experienced with hip surgery. I was so impressed with how much time she took with me (1 hr 45 minutes) and I feel like I am on a road to feeling much better, both mentally and physically. I have only been on my estrogen patch for 3 days and already can tell the difference. I wish I could give Dr. Gunter 10 stars. She is by far the best physician I have ever seen and the best thing is that she is a woman and has experienced everything I am.

Dr. Gunter knows what you are experiencing and guides you to make choices that will benefit you. There is no cookie cutter solution to our individual issues and she will offer you options and make professional recommendations. Menopause doesn't have to be a forbidden discussion with Dr. Gunter. Seperate from the Dr and her staff - I hope ADC becomes more professional with appointment making and can only hope my medical files are in the correct locations.
