Dr. Nixon has a very friendly demeanor and portrayed genuine care about my vision concerns. He took his time to explain what is causing my blurred vision, and the procedure to correct it. He was very thorough providing me with all the information I need to make an informed decision regarding my eye care.

I was so thankful for the kindness and concern I was shown at Dr. Nixon’s office. Every single person I encountered was professional, courteous and kind. They were super busy, but wait times were not unreasonable at all. I would recommend Dr. Nixon and his staff for your retina care. They were awesome!

My mom started seeing repeated flashes of light on the morning after Thanksgiving. We called Austin Retina Associates’ on-call number in the early morning and after describing the symptoms, we were told Dr. Nixon would meet us at the office. He was the on-call doctor and no one was at the office. Despite being on Thanksgiving break, he met us punctually at the office and he was courteous and patient the entire time. We read online that my mom’s symptoms can be signs of something serious and we were really worried when we drove to the office, so we’re tremendously grateful for physicians like Dr. Nixon who can greet us with a friendly demeanor in such times. He told us the flashes were because a small tear in her retina and we fixed it that very morning. We’ve met Dr. Agustin Martínez and I’m impressed with the tact and professionalism of the physicians at this clinic. Thank you all for your excellent service, warmth and empathy.

Dr Nixon and his staff are friendly and professional. Wait times are usually minimal, but I generally do not mind waiting IF the MD takes time to answer my questions & concerns. Dr Nixon always does this. He explains complex information about eyesight and eye anatomy clearly, is thorough in his exams, and does not seem hurried. I appreciate the time he & his staff take to provide medical care & patient information.

Got almost immediate appointment after calling about eye flashes that had just started. Dr Nixon very calming for my anxiety as he did examination. Took my questions readily. Front desk very understanding and helpful .
