Incredibly rude

I’ve rarely met with a more insightful and knowledgeable doctor. Her staff needs work but Doctor J rocked!

I love Dr. Jehangir, I have been seeing her for about 3 years now. However, for my last appointment I waited for an hour and 10 minutes. My appt. was at 11:00, she saw me at 12:10. Besides that, I would highly recommend this office.

I have been to a handful of gynecologist in Austin, Texas, and I came across her over 5 or 6 years ago. She got me. I've continued to visit her clinic bc of the consistent quality in time, communication, and overall care from her and her staff. She has an engaging personality and seems very thoughtful and up-to-date in many types of medicinal practices. I appreciate her respect and her office staff creates a great environment as well, especially for a yearly visit that isn't the best thing you're looking forward to for the day. I appreciate her assistance to my health and confidently recommend this doctor.

She is rude and belittles her patients. Also had to pay for a consultation I never actually got.

This is the worst run business. The turnover is a testament to this. I began going to this doctor for hormone therapy and found relief with someone I trusted. The next time I went in, she was gone. Another person to get to know and provide service. Then I am told I need a Pap Smear..... guess what? Another new person because the 2nd one was Gods know where. After she finished the pap, she explained I actually did not need to get them anymore since my surgery rendered them Unnecessary. Seriously? The. Why did you do it? Why was I told I needed an annual?The final straw- I was scheduled for my 3 month hormone visit and received yet another email letting me know my appointment was cancelled because the person was going to be out of town. I called to reschedule and wa told it would be about five weeks to get me in but the therapy I am on requires I get. Y treatment very regularly or really suffer.Needless to say Dr.Jehangir has the makings for a great practice but over the last few months it has gone down dramatically. It now lacks leadership and the know how to execute a smooth experience. Completely unreliable. I now get my Biote at a doctor in Dripping Springs!!

In 2014 I had an IUD inserted at Dr. Jehangir office. Prior to the procedure my insurance was contacted by Dr. Jehangir's office and I was told that the procedure would be covered by my insurance. After the procedure, I was billed for the entire amount. I contacted the office to explain that I was told by their office that it was covered by insurance. They admitted having told me this, and said it was an error, and apologized but demanded that I pay the bill regardless. I was not offered a discount of any kind, and no "real" explanation. Just "sorry ma'am, our admin made a mistake in informing you it would be covered". For 4 years and 3 months I have had a negative entry on my credit report for $902. I will NOT pay 1 cent of this balance because I shouldn't have to. I would not have had this procedure at all had I known I would have to come out of pocket for it. There are many options for birth control and many practitioners that could have done it had I chosen to pay out of pocket. But that decision was taken away from me when I was given incorrect information. I have disputed this entry on my credit time and time and time again. I am, as I was at the time of this procedure, a single mom who does not receive child support. I can not and should not be expected to pay for something that I would never have had if I'd been given accurate information. BEWARE of this office's unethical billing practices and lack of compassion for their patients who suffer because of their mistakes.

Dr. J is by far the complete opposite of what a dedicated, caring and compassionate doctor should be like. All she cared for was writing good reviews about her over the internet, way more than my actual problems, that which she claimed weren't "real" at all. If I could give Zero stars, I would. I wouldn't even recommend her to my worst enemy!

I have been going to Dr. J for 6+ years now and she delivered my kiddo. HANDS DOWN the best doc ever. She made sure I was always comfortable and the labor was easy. She took my calls at home and had me come in any time I felt I needed to (First time mommy concerns that were nothing..lol). As for my OB visits, they were what they were but she always laughed and made it as comfortable as it could be. I like that she never beat around the bush and was straight to the point. I would recommend her to anyone and believe she is truly an amazing doctor.
