Sara Gibson Md's Online Review Report Card

Used her for the delivery for my daughter. Terrible bed side manner, always fast and disinterested. Worse part: when it came time to deliver our baby, I told her that the contractions are too strong (using Pitocin). She said it was ok. My daughter came out too fast and ripped my vagina, had to get stitches. This is my 5th child and this is the first time this happened. And even afterwards when we went to the post office visits, she still was fast and disinterested.

I’ve been coming to Dr. Gibson for 3 years now. The first visit went fine. I had to come back because of some abnormal cells that needed to be looked at. I waited in the lobby for 30 minutes then in the room undressed for an hour before someone came to tell me she may not make it in. I opted to wait another 10 minutes to which she finally came. It felt really good to being sitting on a table naked for an hour to do tests for some anomalies that have you worried then hear Dr. Gibson through the door say “now who is this? Have I seen her? Ok fine let’s make it quick.” There was no warmth or comparison while she took a chunk out of my cervix then told me to just take some Advil for the pain. When it came time to go back in I opted for her N.P. as she was always nice. Not only was I there for 2hrs but she was short with me, rushed and didn’t listen to my concerns about blood clots that actually caused me to have a stroke 4 days after she changed my birth control. Coincidence? Maybe? The front desk staff was always unfriendly. I do not recommend this practice at all.

She had to go to the ER directly after the appointment since Sara Gibson didn’t take any of her SEVERE PAIN or medical concerns seriously. I just read all of her reviews and the ones saying she incorrectly bills you and that she’s extremely unprofessional are 100% true. I honestly believe individuals are being paid to leave good reviews on this page based off my family members horrible experience. I don’t recommend this OBGYN to anyone trying to have a healthy pregnancy and I wonder why this lady became an OBGYN in the first place. My daughter will be going back to her old OBGYN that is far from her house, but better than this evil person.

Dr. Gibson didn’t submit a pre authorization to my insurance after I was told it would be covered by insurance/medically necessary. I was then charged $500 from a doctor who “accepts” my insurance. I addressed the charge to her nurse who said it was medically necessary and I’d be getting a call from an employee to have it removed. Not surprising, no one to this day has ever called me since the doctor didn’t do her job correctly and doesn’t even remotely care about her patients health only her paycheck. She came off arrogant and wouldn't be my first or even thirtieth choice to deliver a baby into the world. My first appointment with her was literally an argument from start to finish since she dismisses every concern you have. I’ve never experienced such a combative person, let alone medical professional. There are several doctors in my family and I now see the difference between a doctor who genuinely cares about patients well-being, and one who is so obviously there for the financial benefits. Lastly, don’t go here if you pay for health insurance. You’ll end up paying at least $200 for one appointment, and then receive an expensive invoice that wasn’t even billed to your insurance (which you pay for every month). She picks and chooses what she wants to bill to insurance and she wasn’t nice to me so I’m guessing that’s why she didn’t care about doing a pre authorization like a normal human or board certified physician would do. If it was medically necessary she could careless; she is a fraud. She told me she would bill my insurance and never did. I’m kind of shocked as to how a doctor like this hasn’t been in a serious law suit yet.

Dr Gibson refused to remove my IUD even after I told her it was causing me pain. She told me “you are really going to have to convince me to take it out” she then proceeded to tell me she fixed my issue with the IUD and that men don’t like it when you’re bleeding all the time and told me to take a vacation. By the time she was done I did not want her to touch me, I found another OBGYN and had her removed it it was the best decision I have ever made. I would never recommend Sarah Gibson

Doctor misdiagnosed me with possible cancerous tumor. During surgery, she discovered no tumor but my Fallopian tube had endometriosis and some fluid in it. Instead of fixing it, she opted to remove my left tube without my permission, knowing full well I wanted children. Completely incompetent. Claimed to know how to treat endometriosis, but doesn’t.

I absolutely love Dr. Gibson! She has been so helpful and patient with us! Fantastic!

Incredibly arrogant and hypocritical- doesn’t respect patients questioning

She doesn’t even shake your hand hello. Treats women as if they were cattle breeding. No emotions or empathy. Cold hearted and no place for her in obstetrics. Women need doctors who are tender and receptive. I feel like everytime I have a question, she made me feel incompetent and out of place.
